It kind of feels like we are coming out of a very long winter, longer than normal between the pandemic and the severity of the cold. Spring always provides us with a renewed hope in life and work, and I am really looing forward to this year! Our year started as normal with the Enshrinement in Springfield presented by Killian Construction and, thanks to the Ozarks Empire Fairgrounds, we were able to host over 1,000 in a safe setting. That event was followed by our second Outdoor Sports Luncheon presented by the Ozarks Coca-Cola/ Dr Pepper Bottling Company. This coming week, we will host the seventh Women’s Sports Luncheon presented by the Bee Payne-Stewart Foundation. Now with spring here, our attention will turn to some of our annual golf events. On May 6 & 7, we will host the Tiger Ball and Scholarship Auction followed by the Mizzou Alumni Golf Classic. The Tiger Ball is presented by Rooney, McBride & Smith, and Morgan Stanley (Andy Stewart). The golf outing is sponsored by Great Southern Bank. On May 10, we will return to Old Kinderhook for our Lake of the Ozarks Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Missouri Eagle.
