The certificate is generally required in order to join a university. • Vocational Education is given in Professional lyceum and vocational technical colleges School system Schwarzthal Kapital- Central Asia • Higher Education includes universities, academies, specialized higher education institutes and institutes. • Secondary professional education is through colleges and technicums for up to 4 years, of which 2 are exempt if secondary school has been completed. • Undergraduate lasts 4 years (Bachelor degree (Bakalavr) and graduate programs, Master (Magistr) up to 2 years. • A «specialist degree» a 5 (or 6 for medical and architecture studies) years. • The specialist and the master degrees both open the door to PhD programs (aspirantura).
