1 Mandatory Conditions

1. No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence:

a) At a time that there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence; or b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal l licence is suspended.

2. Every supply of alcohol under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

Annex 2 – Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

1 General - all four licensing objectives

The standards achieved under the past licences shall be maintained.

2 The prevention of crime and disorder

The premises licence holder or the designated premises supervisor shall ensure that the CCTV is maintained in working order and a 24 hour control room monitors transmission, that recordings are retained for an appropriate period of time and in compliance with Data Protection regulations.

The premises shall use professional security with appropriate SIA qualification throughout the time the premises is open to the public.

Additional security staff are to be provided during events where management considers that additional security may be required.

Bar staff should be trained in the laws relating to alcohol.

Cloakrooms should fully staffed when operational.

There should be a zero tolerance policy towards drugs and drunkenness.

3 Public Safety

All staff shall be trained in evacuation procedures.

A qualified first-aider shall be on duty at all times when the premises is open to the public and first aid boxes should be available throughout the premises.

A Duty Manager, together with appropriate levels of stewarding staff will be on duty for all the events.

Specific risk assessments will be carried out for each event by or under the guidance of in-house Health and Safety Manager.

Staff should be aware of the capacity figures set for certain areas and ensure that these are not exceeded.

Accidents and injuries would be recorded in line with Health and Safety Executive requirements.

4 The prevention of public nuisance

The sound proofing facilities of the premises shall be maintained effective such that noise disturbance is not caused to neighbouring premises.

The main doors to the premises shall be maintained to open towards the river.

Waste management should be dealt with in accordance with strategy agreed with the London Borough of Lambeth.

5 The protection of children from harm

The premises shall have in place a procedure for restricting children accessing films with adult content.

Customers are to be advised, at the time of booking of any adult content in the particular event.

Where necessary South Bank Centre staff will be required to have appropriate CRB clearance when any specialists engaged to work with children.

Risk assessments should be sent for approval as appropriate.
