    2012 FIM X-TRIAL DES NATIONS General information General concept The FIM X-Trial des Nations (competition for National Teams) will be organised at the end of the FIM X-Trial World Championship season. Venue & dates: Nice, France – 06 April 2012 Teams: Spain, Great Britain, Japan, France & Norway Composition of the teams: 2 riders selected by their National Federation with the approval of the FIM Trial Commission The event will include two laps. Each lap will have 6 normal sections and one speed section. Total time of the event: 90 minutes. Sporting side (1) Speed section: parts of several or all normal sections will be used to create the speed section. Riding individually, the fastest rider passing this section will win. Fastest rider: 0 points, second fastest rider: 1 point, third fastest rider: 2 points, etc… 1st lap: one rider of each team (starting order as per the previous FIM Trial des Nations classification) will pass 6 normal sections in a row. Then, all riders of the 1st lap will compete in the speed section. 2nd lap: the other rider of each team (reverse starting order as the 1st lap) will compete in the speed section. Then, all riders of the 2nd lap will pass 6 normal sections in a row. Sporting side (2) Results: At the end of the 2nd lap, the results of the first and second rider will be added to establish the final team classification of the FIM X- Trial des Nations. The team with the lower points will be the winner. Sporting rules: based on those of the FIM X-Trial World Championship.

    Press Release Strong European participation in Team Events Events for National Teams are always very special, as they are the most popular showcase of our sport. It is the only occasion where the best riders of the world come together and compete for their Country. They ride with great pride and enthusiasm for their colours. It is an honour for every rider to be selected for the national team and compete against riders of all the other national teams. European Federations have a long history and tradition to take part in these events and they work very hard on the preparation as well as the selection of the riders. These are the famous team events: ISDE (International Six Days Enduro), Motocross of Nations, Su - perMoto of Nations, Trial des Nations and Freestyle of Nations. Expect the Snowcross of Nations as of 2016.     2011 SPEA FIM X-TRIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 FIM X-TRIAL DES NATIONS FORMAT & RULES FRANCE, Nice, 1st April 2016 General Concept The FIM X-Trial des Nations (Competition by National Teams) will be organised at the end of the X-Trial World Championship season. Place & dates: Nice, France – 1st April 2016. Five Teams are selected according to a criteria : France, Spain, Great Britain, Italy & United States Composition of the teams: 2 riders (from which one to be under 25 years old) and 1 Team Manager selected by their National Federation (FMN) Each Team will receive a bonus in relation to the result of the team. Sport Aspect The event will include 2 laps. Each lap will have a « Race » (Double Lane or Speed Section) followed by 6-7 Normal Sections. The Format by Team allows the two riders to obtain at each lap a common result for their Nation. 1st lap : Each Team Manager chooses a rider from his team which will participate to the « Race ». The results will determiniate the order of the passing of the teams. Then, the two riders of each team will be on the Course of 6-7 Sections. The Team Manager will choose which rider will ride 3 Sections, the other rider will rider the other 3-4 Sections. Each Section will be riden within and inidcated time. Sport Aspect 2nd lap : Considering the classification order of the 1st lap, the rider of each team who has not participated at the « Race » at the 1st lap will participate at the 2nd. The results will determinate the Team’s passing order on the 6-7 Normal Sections normales of the 2nd lap.
