HISTORICAL SKETCH OF THE COLLECTION Ninety (90) prints depicting historic sites in Kentucky. The contents of the prints primarily include the exterior, interior, and surrounding out buildings of historic homes, inns, and mills throughout Kentucky. Several of the sites are included in Filson’s 1784 Map of Kentucky. Many of the sites are connected to important historical figures and/or events in Kentucky. All of these sites have been registered as part of the Historic American Buildings Survey.

SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION This collection consists of ninety (90) 5” by 7” prints made by Stone Studio of Louisville, KY. The prints were the product of a March 1934 survey of historic sites in Kentucky. Nearly thirty sites were recorded in this survey.
