Welcome Newcomers Nearly half of Liberty’s 17-player roster is comprised of newcomers. The Lady Flames welcomed seven freshmen and junior college All-American, transfer Mickey Loveridge for 2015. Four newcomers (Loveridge and freshmen Madison Kotchey, Alexia Taylor and Tori Zavodny) all started in the season opener against No. 23/23 South Alabama. It marked the first time since Feb. 22, 2008 that four Liberty newcomers appeared in the opening game’s starting lineup, when Cassie Hendrix, Amber DePasquale, Keely McMillon and Elena Lampman all started as freshman against Tennessee Tech.
