IST Meteorological Analysis (Based on 0830 Hrs IST Observations) Weather Watch :- Heavy rainfall occured at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rainfall occured at isolated places over Chhattisgarh and West Madhya Pradesh. Thunderstorm observed at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Very light to moderate rainfall occurred at most places over Madhya Pradesh and at many places over Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha. Monsoon Watch :- Monsoon been active over Madhya Pradesh. Inference:- The low pressure area over northern parts of west Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood persists and The associated upper air cyclonic circulation now extends upto 3.6 Km above mean sea level. A fresh low pressure area lies over south Gujarat region & neighbourhood with associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 Km above mean sea level. The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through centre of low pressure area over south Gujarat region & neighbourhood, center of low pressure area over northern parts of west Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood, Sidhi, Daltongunj, Burdwan, Digha and thence eastsoutheastwards to North¬East Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level. The off¬shore trough at mean sea level from north Maharashtra coast to north Kerala coast persists. The east¬west shear zone roughly along Latitude 23.0°N persists and now seen between 3.1 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
