Double Square Dance Yearbook cTfq.f0Lifel INTRODUCTION W EVE GIVEN UP THE IDEA that there would ever be a time when there weren't some individuals in the square dance world who would write new mate- rial. The collection you see here of more than 1,100 different dances represents only a portion of the dance material created during 1970 and 1971. It does, however, present the material that has been selected by the dance editors of SQUARE DANC- ING (Sets in Order) magazine as being among the best of the dances created dur- ing this period. No single caller will ever be expected to know all of the dances in this publication. On the other hand callers will find in these pages ideas that he can use for filler or a bit of patter to be included in the next workshop section. We hope that the book will prove challenging and reflect back on the times in which we dance. — Bob Osgood, Editor SQUARE DANCING Beverly Hills, California Copyright 1971 November, 1971 The Sets in Order American Square Dance Society 462 North Robertson Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90048 Printed in U.S.A. 2 Circle up eight to the left One couple rollaway and circle left Two couples rollaway and circle left Three couples rollaway and circle left Four couples rollaway and The Left allemande HAT A DISTANCE these bread and butter calls have trav- BASIC FUN W eled during the past two decades. INMATE ADMISSION AND ORIENTATION HANDBOOK U.S. MEDICAL CENTER FOR FEDERAL PRISONERS SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI Updated February 2017 Inmate Information Handbook Federal Bureau of Prisons Introduction The purpose of this handbook is to provide newly committed inmates and others interested in the Federal Bureau of Prisons with general information regarding the Bureau, its programs, institutions, and the rules and regulations they will encounter during confinement. It is not a specific guide to the detailed policies of the Bureau or all procedures in effect at each Bureau location. The U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) is temporarily your community. What kind of community it is depends on you! If you and every other inmate take the proper attitude toward each other and the staff, you can be assured you will not encounter any problems while you are here. Conduct yourself in such a way as to not interfere with the rights of other inmates. If you have a proper regard for the staff, you will be able to work with them instead of against them. Also, remember the accepted rules of good conduct, good manners, common sense (in other words, the Golden Rule), do not possess any contraband, and you will not have any difficulty. This booklet contains general information procedures and regulations developed to help you become better acquainted with the operations of your new community. Many of the most frequently asked questions have been answered in this booklet. If you are concerned about something not covered, you are urged to ask any staff member. If they cannot help you, they will refer you to someone who can.

  • FCI La Tuna Admissions & Orientation Handbook
1 FCI LA TUNA INMATE ADMISSION & ORIENTATION HANDBOOK UPDATED: March 2016 2 INTRODUCTION The purpose of this handbook is to provide arriving inmates with information regarding the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), its programs, and the rules and regulations. It is not a specific guide to the detailed policies of the BOP. Rather, the material in this handbook will help new inmates more quickly understand what they will be encountering when they enter prison, and hopefully assist them in their initial adjustment to incarceration. The Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna is a Low security facility. Adjacent to FCI La Tuna is the Federal Prison Camp which is a minimum security facility. FCI and FPC La Tuna are located on U.S. Texas Highway 20 and Interstate 10, 16 miles north of El Paso, Texas and 25 miles south of Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Federal Satellite Low (FSL) is located on Biggs Army Airfield which is located directly adjacent to Ft. Bliss Army installation within the city limits of El Paso, Texas. INTAKE, CLASSIFICATION AND THE UNIT TEAM Orientation Inmates are given a social screening by Unit Management staff and medical screening by Health Services and Mental Health staff at the time of arrival. Inmates are immediately provided with a copy of the institution rules and regulations, which include information on inmate rights and responsibilities. It also includes information on sexual assault and abuse. Within four weeks of arrival, inmates will participate in the Institution Admission and Orientation (A&O) Program. While in A&O, inmates are advised of the programs, services, policies and procedures regarding the facility.
