About Bank Muscat Bank Muscat, founded in 1982, is a large commercial bank in the sultanate of Oman. The bank provides corporate banking, retail banking, , islamic banking, treasury, private banking and asset management services. In addition, the bank has direct and indirect presence in all six Gulf Cooperation Council states, a representative office in which focuses on financial institutions and trade business, and is an associate in a securities company in India. Bank Muscat was the first Middle Eastern bank to adopt the Equator Principles in 2007, and is profiled as part of BankTrack's Tracking the Equator Principles campaign.
