2018 DIGA Catalog 2018 Digital Circuit of Georgia The ‘DIGA’; PSA approval is #2018-455 - This is the Exhibitors catalogue – Dear entrant - - - Here are the required set of listings and information for you from our December 2018 digital exhibition – the 2018 DIGA Circuit! Overall the judging went fine with all 6 of the shows in the DIGA Circuit – And the panels decided to accept a higher percentage from the entrants than they have in recent years, much to the liking of both entrants and viewers in the Atlanta metro area! The reason for taking a higher level of acceptances was the small entry numbers in all the sections – We had to provide shows to the public and the panels looked at the accepted images and decided to go into the ‘just missed’ images and add/increase the scores of some images to make the numbers! This is allowed by PSA! Following page 125 (or so) are some comments on the judging and the situation here in the USA, and in Georgia, in regards to the PSA approved exhibitions. Summary The Ralph I. Gifford Photographs consist of images taken by Gifford throughout Oregon, primarily during the 1930s and 1940s. The photographs depict many Oregon landmarks and scenes, including the Oregon Coast, Crater Lake, Mount Hood, the Wallowa Mountains, and the Snake River Canyon. The collection includes numerous images of sport fishing as well as several photographs of Native Americans. Ralph Gifford was the son of Benjamin A. Gifford and took over his father©s Portland photography business around 1920. In 1936, Ralph became the first photographer of the newly established Travel and Information Department of the Oregon State Highway Department, a position he held until his death in 1947.
