Mission Shikska-E Magazine.Pdf MISSION SHIKSHA 2015 सरस्तत नमसत्भुभ ्रदव केमरपमणू । प्दुेरमभ कररषुेमम मसद्त ् मव सदे ॥ With the grace of Goddess Saraswati HJD Institute of Technical Education & Research, Kera organized a Rural Education Program 2015 named “Mission Shiksha” from 2 November 2015 to 2 January 2016 under Swa. Kanji Karsan Halai Education and Charitable Trust, Kera for the second time. Vision of programme: To promote education as a vehicle for rural development. Mission of programme: To make a lifelong difference to the lives of rural underprivileged girls and boys through holistic education. Glimpse of programme: “Mission Shiksha” is a programme that is designed to empower under privileged children born in rural and remote areas in Kutch. It is an attempt to provide an opportunity to all children for improving human capabilities, through provision of community owned quality education in a mission mode. Under this programme, Existing schools with inadequate teacher strength are provided with additional teachers, while the capacity of existing teachers is being strengthened by extensive training, grants for developing teaching-learning materials and strengthening of the academic support structure at a cluster, block and district level. The faculties of the Institute are free from their regular classes during the month of November and December since university examinations are going on at that time. So they are encouraged to go to the schools in all over Kutch to educate the students. In the year 2015, 112 schools were covered and 7466 students were benefited under this noble act. Almost all the areas of Kutch were covered like Lakhapat, Bhachau, Bhuj, Nakhatrana, Abadasa, Mandvi, Gandhidham, Anjar and Mundra. The villages like Narayan Sarovar, Panandhro, Shamakhyali, Lakadiya, Varli, Meghpar, Makanpur, Baladiya, Paddhar, Kera, Gajod, Hajapar, Madhapar, Mankuva, Nagalpur, Vithon, Mothara, Kothara, Bitta, Rampar, Bidada, Asambiya, Tuna, Kidana, Shinay, Sugariya, Sapeda, Bhadreshwar, Karagoga and Zarpara were covered under the programme. In the year 2014, 69 schools were covered and 5447 students were benefited. Total 55 Faculties(22 Faculties from Mechanical Department, 09 Faculties from Civil Department, 12 Faculties from Electrical Department, 02 Faculties from CSE Department and 10 Faculties from HMS Department) took part enthusiastically for making this program successful. All respective faculties devoted 345 hours of teaching in total. The coordination of this program was done by Vice Principal- Mr. Pritesh Mankad and Social Activity Coordinator-Mr. Vishal Bhimani. Mr. Hardik Bhatt, Mr. Jignesh Makani, Mr. Pratik Parekh, Mr. Narendra Pokar, Mr. Ankit Pateliya, Mr. Kunjan Bhanderi, Mr. Haresh Chande, Mr. Chintan Thacker, Ms. Kanchan Bhansali and Ms. Nidhi Rajgor were coordinators from various Departments. Hon. Chairman Shri. Jagdishbhai Halai, Administrator Mr. Hiren Vyas and Principal Dr. Rajesh Patel had become source of inspiration during the entire journey. While satisfaction gained from food is only temporary, knowledge can bring lifetime satisfaction-Keeping this noble aim in mind Mr. Jagdish Halai, Chairman of HJD Institute of Technical Education and Research, Kera through his Mission Shiksha initiative took great care to ensure “Vidya Daanam”- 'The Gift of Faculties of HJD adding value to next generation who will build future of Education'. India... During first Week, From 2nd of November 2015 to 11th of November 2015, there were 13 schools visited by 8 faculty members of various department. Total 1027 students had taken benefit of different seven villages under this program. The villages visited during that week were Shamakhyali, Madhapar, Shinay, Gajod, Lakadiya, Tuna and Kidana. Patel. This program had been highly appreciated even by the society. And in this week also the journey of Mission Shiksha was being continued. During Week-3, From 07th of December 2015 to 12th of December 2015, there were 14 schools Faculties of HJD institute teaching students with active learning tools…. visited by 7 various departmental faculty members. Total 905 students had taken benefit of different nine villages under this program. Cost: ₹9000 = $125 = €112 The All-India Indigenous-Tribal Federation is a nationwide association, where almost 10% of the population (over 100 million people) live in hundreds of ethnic communities throughout India. As elsewhere in the world, tribal peoples have unique struggles to maintain their identities and livelihoods. This seminar will address some of these efforts and success. Attendees will stay at the Northeastern Social Research Centre, a leading advocacy site for research, solidarity, and publication. We will participate in seminars with panellists from the big history conference and the indigenous-tribal communities. There will be field trips to nearby sites, including the Boroland tribal territories and institutions, as well as the Manas National Park. For those who would like an extended tour after the seminar, we will travel to Nagaland to visit Kohima and hike into the highland Dzűkou Valley. The trip will end back in Guwahati, Assam, from where a departure may be made. JICA selected and dispatched a project team headed by Mr. Toshio Ito of Yamashita Sekkei Inc., the representing company of a consortium consists of Yamashita Sekkei Inc. and Nihon Sekkei, Inc., from June 6th, 2001 to May 29th, 2002 and from August 4th to August 18th, 2002. In addition, JICA selected an advisor, Mr. Osamu Yamada of the Institute of International Cooperation who examined the project from specialist and technical points of view. The team held discussions with the officials concerned of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat and conducted a field survey and implemented quick reconstruction support project for the primary educational and healthcare sectors. After the commencement of the quick reconstruction support project the team conducted further studies and prepared this final report. I hope that this report will contribute to the promotion of the project and to the enhancement of friendly relationships between our two countries.

The Project is to adopt government and non-government schools, with priority to remote locations within Kutch and offer them comprehensive support in a holistic manner to uplift and improve the levels of education on the surface and eventually make the future generation better social beings and citizens of the Country. The first year from June 2019 to May 2020 was planned for engaging the schools and the students with our team and the Project’s conceptual details. We tried to deliver our thought about the students and schools for this project. We have to go far in the field of training of the team as well as the associated teachers of the adopted schools. Our drawn activities for the schools in the project are delivered and implemented with no any major issues. The thrust areas of the project initially were to engaged in activities, health and hygiene, improving the aesthetics and reducing absenteeism for students and improving performance. And we have done it that we can see on the face of students and our team members as well as concerned teachers of adopted schools.
