Navegador Mozilla Firefox 1.1. Abra o Internet Explorer e digite o endereço http://br.mozdev.org/download/. 1.2. Clique no banner “Iniciar o Download” para baixar o arquivo. 1.3. Na caixa de diálogo, selecione a opção “Executar” para iniciar a instalação do 2 Firefox. 1.4. Aguarde o término do download. 1.5. Clique novamente em “Executar”. 3 1.6. Na tela de boas vindas do Firefox, clique no botão “Avançar”. 1.7. Na tela de escolha do tipo de instalação, selecione a opção “Padrão” e clique no botão “Avançar”. 4 1.8. Caso deseje definir o Firefox como seu navegador padrão, mantenha marcada a opção “Definir o Firefox como o navegador padrão”. Caso contrário, desmarque a opção e, em seguida, clique no botão “Instalar” 1.9. Mantenha selecionada a opção “Iniciar o Firefox agora” e clique no botão “Concluir”. 5 1.10. Caso queira importar suas preferências do Internet Explorer, deixe marcada a primeira opção. Caso deseje criar novas preferências para o Firefox, marque a segunda opção. Após, clique no botão “Avançar”. 1.11. Da mesma forma que no passo anterior, decida se deseja ou não importar para o Firefox a mesma página inicial utilizada no Internet Explorer. Após, clique no botão “Avançar”. 6 1.12. Caso tenha optado pela inportação das preferências do Internet Explorer, o progresso da tarefa será exibido. Após, clique no botão “Concluir”. 1.13. No primeiro acesso ao Firefox, o navegador irá apresentar ao usuário uma aba com informações de agradecimentos e boas vindas. 7 1.14. Ainda nesta página, o Firefox disponibiliza ao usuário o botão “Conheça seus direitos”. Trata-se de um link direto à informações acerca das políticas de uso, distribuição, privacidade e serviços do navegador. 1.15. A página contém informações detalhadas e links de acesso a outras informações. 8 1.16. O Firefox apresentará também uma aba com a página inicial que foi importada do Internet Explorer. 1.17. Algumas configurações serão necessárias para facilitar a usabilidade do sistema. Primeiramente, clique no menu “Ferramentas” e selecione o item “Opções...”. 9 1.18. No painel de tarefas que se abrirá, certifique-se de que a guia “Geral” esteja selecionada, desmarque a opção “Abrir a janela Downloads ao salvar um arquivo” e marque a opção “Sempre perguntar onde salvar arquivos”. 1.19. Selecione a guia “Abas” e marque a opção “Ao abrir um link em nova aba, carregá-la em primeiro plano” 10 1.20. Na guia “Conteúdo”, desmarque a opção “Bloquear janelas pop up”. 1.21. Na guia “Avançado”, marque a opção “Usar teclas de setas para percorrer pelas páginas” 11 1.22. Clique no botão “OK” para finalizar as configurações de navegação. 2 . Java 2.1. Para instalar o Java em sua máquina, abra o navegador Firefox, digite o endereço http://www.java.com/pt_BR/download/manual.jsp, e clique no link 12 “Windows 7/XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Off-line”. 2.2. Aguarde a exibição da janela e clique no botão “Download”. 2.3. Selecione o local onde deseja armazenar o arquivo de instalação do Java. 13 2.4. Após o download, clique no menu “Ferramentas” e selecione o item “Downloads”. 2.5. Clique duas vezes sobre o arquivo “jre-6u20-windows-i586-s.exe” exibido na janela de downloads. 14 2.6. Na janela de instalação do Java, clique no botão “Install >”. 2.7. Aguarde a instalação do aplicativo. 15 2.8. Após o término da instalação, clique no botão “Close”. 2.9. Quando da primeira utilização, o Java irá solicitar ao usuário permissão para executar o aplicativo. Marque a opção “Always trust content from this publisher” e, em seguida, clique no botão “Run”. 16 2.10. No projudi, ao clicar no “Assinar Arq...”, novamente o Java irá solicitar ao usuário permissão para executar o aplicativo. Assim, marque novamente a opção “Always trust content from this publisher” e, em seguida, clique no botão “Run”. 2.11. Finalmente, uma tela será exibida solicitando ao usuário a permissão para bloquear o aplicativo. Marque a opção “No”, de forma a autorizar o uso do Java. 17 18 3. Conversor DoPDF 3.1. Acesse o Projudi no endereço http://projudi.tjmt.jus.br/projudi/, e clique no link, conforme a figura abaixo.. 3.2. Aguarde a exibição da janela e clique no botão “Download”. 19 3.3. Selecione o local onde deseja armazenar o arquivo de instalação do doPDF. 3.4. Após o download, clique no menu “Ferramentas” e selecione o item “Downloads”. 3.5. Clique duas vezes sobre o arquivo “dopdf.exe” exibido na janela de downloads. 20 3.6. A janela de instalação do DoPDF será exibida. Clique no botão “Executar”. 3.7. Mantenha selecionado o idioma “Português (Brasil)” e clique no botão “OK”. 21 3.8. Na tela de boas vindas, clique no botão “Avançar”. 3.9. Marque a opção “Eu aceito os termos do Contrato” e em seguida clique em “Avançar”. 22 3.10. Mantenha o arquivo de destino da instalação e clique no botão “Avançar”. 3.11. Mantenha o nome a ser dado para a pasta que será criada no menu Iniciar e clique no botão “Avançar”. 23 3.12. Caso deseje, marque a opção “Definir doPDF Printer como impressora padrão” e, em seguida, clique no botão “Avançar”. 3.13. Caso deseje, opte pela instalação de mais idiomas para a interface do programa. Em seguida, clique no botão “Avançar”. 24 3.14. Selecione qual dos idiomas da interface do programa será definido como padrão. Após, clique no botão “Avançar”. 3.15. Confirme o resumo das decisões tomadas e, caso estejam certas, clique no botão “Instalar”. 25 3.16. Finalizada a instalação, clique no botão “Concluir”.     INSIGHT INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS During the 2017-18 school year, all middle and high school students are required to install the INSIGHT software to complete their CDT assessments. Agora recommends families install the INSIGHT software using Mozilla Firefox. You cannot install the software using Internet Explorer. 1. Click the installation link below: Tinyurl.com/CDTinstall 2. Click ‘Download’. 3. Disregard the security warning. The installation file is safe. Click ‘Download anyway’. 4. If using Mozilla Firefox, the next step after clicking ‘Download anyway’ is to click 5. If using Mozilla Firefox and the file doesn’t launch, click the arrow in the top-right corner of your page and select the file titled ‘DRN_INSIGHT_Setup_Student.msi’.     Kenneth Arnes Ryan Paul Jaca Network Software Applications Networks consist of hardware, such as servers, Ethernet cables and wireless routers, and networking software. Networking software differs from software applications in that the software does not perform tasks that end-users can see in the way word processors and spreadsheets do. Instead, networking software operates invisibly in the background, allowing the user to access network resources without the user even knowing the software is operating. History o Computer networks, and the networking software that enabled them, began to appear as early as the 1970s. Early networks consisted of computers connected to each other through telephone modems. As personal computers became more pervasive in homes and in the workplace in the late 1980s and early 1990s, networks to connect them became equally pervasive. Microsoft enabled usable and stable peer-to-peer networking with built-in networking software as early as 1995 in the Windows 95 operating system. Types y Different types of networks require different types of software. Peer-to-peer networks, where computers connect to each other directly, use networking software whose basic function is to enable file sharing and printer sharing. Client-server networks, where multiple end-user computers, the clients, connect to each other indirectly through a central computer, the server, require networking software solutions that have two parts. The server software part, running on the server computer, stores information in a central location that client computers can access and passes information to client software running on the individual computers. Application-server software work much as client-server software does, but allows the end-user client computers to access not just data but also software applications running on the central server.
