EXHIBIT (f)(ii) Announcement Entitled Peter Costello to head Commission of Audit into state of Queensland’s finances Treasurer and Minister for Trade The Honourable Tim Nicholls Thursday, March 29, 2012 Peter Costello to head Commission of Audit into state of Queensland’s finances The LNP Government today announced that the Honourable Peter Costello AC will head the Independent Commission of Audit into the state’s finances. The Independent Commission of Audit is a key LNP election commitment which we promised to establish within the first week of coming to office. Mr Costello AC will be joined by two other commissioners Dr Doug McTaggart and Professor Sandra Harding. The Commission has been asked to provide an interim report covering the Government’s current financial position by mid-June. The Commission will complete its final report by February, 2013. Treasurer Tim Nicholls was extremely pleased that the Government had been able to attract such a high calibre team to work for the Commission. “The Commissioners cover the field in public finance and economics, from both the academic and practical perspectives,” Mr Nicholls said. “I am particularly pleased Peter was able to accept the appointment to be Chair of the Commission. Most Australians rightly regard him as largely responsible for the economic and fiscal stability which characterised Australia for much of the last two decades. He knows what it means to run a good budget. “Dr McTaggart and Professor Harding are both highly respected Queenslanders with decades of experience in finance, investment and economics between them.” The Commission will have a broad terms of reference, covering Queensland’s current and forecast financial position; opportunities to improve Queensland’s finances, service delivery and infrastructure. It will also be asked to look at ways in which the Government can improve Queensland’s economic performance.

Background of the three Commissioners

• Mr Costello served in Federal Parliament for nearly two decades with 11 years spent as Treasurer. He has been a director

of the Australian Government Future Fund’s Board of Guardians since December, 2009. He is also a managing partner of BKK Partners and chairs the advisory board of specialist corporate advisory firm ECG Advisory Solutions. Mr Costello was appointed Companion of the Order of Australia, Australia’s highest civilian honour, on 26 January, 2011.

• Dr McTaggart is Chief Executive of QIC and has worked as an academic economist. He was most recently Professor of Economics at Bond University where he was also Associate Dean. Before joining QIC, Dr McTaggart was the Under Treasurer and Under Secretary of the Queensland Department of Treasury. He is currently a councillor on the National Competition Council, a member of the COAG Reform Council and a director of CEDA. He holds an Honours Degree in Economics from the Australian National University and a Masters Degree and PhD from the University of Chicago.

• Professor Sandra Harding is Vice-Chancellor and President of Australia. She is an economic sociologist who has over 14 years experience in Australian university senior executive positions. She is currently a board

member of Skills Queensland, Council Member of the Australian Institute for Marine Sciences and Deputy Chair of Universities Australia and Chair of UA’s Audit Committee. EXHIBIT (f)(iii) Announcement Entitled Premier announces new Ministry Premier The Honourable Friday, March 30, 2012 Premier announces new Ministry Queensland Premier Campbell Newman today announced the new Ministry of the Newman LNP Government. Mr Newman said the Ministry included both experienced members and new faces who had wide-ranging, real world experience to get Queensland back on track. “The new faces in the Ministry reflect the depth of talent in the LNP and the experienced members will continue their outstanding work for the people of Queensland,” Mr Newman said. “This is a Ministry for all of Queensland because it’s made of representatives of all of the regions. “All members of the Ministry will be working hard for Queensland - to grow a four pillar economy, lower the cost of living by cutting waste, revitalise front line services, deliver better infrastructure and planning and restore accountability to government. “After 20 years of Labor, we have a lot of work to do, but my team and I will be working hard every day to get Queensland back on track. “I pledge to the people of Queensland that we will not let you down.” The Ministry will be sworn in by Her Excellency Penelope Wensley AC on Tuesday.

Current Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs and Minister Assisting the Premier Jack Dempsey MP has been promoted to Minister for Police and Community Safety. EXHIBIT (f)(v) Announcement Entitled Treasurer acknowledges outgoing QTC Chair Treasurer and Minister for Trade The Honourable Tim Nicholls Monday, April 30, 2012 Treasurer acknowledges outgoing QTC Chair Treasurer and Minister for Trade, Tim Nicholls has announced Stephen Rochester will resign as Chairman of Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC), effective 9 May 2012. “I wish to pay tribute to Mr Rochester for the dedicated service and leadership he provided the QTC for over two decades. “Under Mr Rochester’s leadership, QTC achieved strong results despite having to contend with extremely challenging global conditions,” Mr Nicholls said. Mr Nicholls said an announcement concerning Mr Rochester’s replacement as QTC Chair will be made in due course. “The incoming Chair will refocus the QTC’s priorities toward core borrowing and liability management business. “Meeting these priorities is crucial to regaining our AAA credit rating, which was lost under the former Labor Government,” Mr Nicholls said. EXHIBIT (f)(vi) Announcement Entitled Former Under Treasurer appointed as new QTC Chairman Treasurer and Minister for Trade The Honourable Tim Nicholls Thursday, May 10, 2012 Former Under Treasurer appointed as new QTC Chairman The Treasurer and Minister for Trade Tim Nicholls today announced the appointment of former Under Treasurer Gerard Bradley as Chairman of Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC). The Treasurer said the Government had moved quickly to secure the expertise of Mr Bradley following the resignation of former Chairman Stephen Rochester. Mr Nicholls said QTC was the ’s central financing authority, borrowing funds in domestic and international markets for Government departments, Government-owned corporations, statutory authorities and local governments. “Since it was created in 1988, QTC has a proven track record of navigating Queensland through the challenges of financial markets and providing funding and independent financial and risk management advice. “It is essential we have the best and most qualified leadership possible for this critical Government agency as we chart the course back to regaining a triple-A credit rating,” Mr Nicholls said. The incoming chair will refocus QTC’s priorities toward its core borrowing and liability management business. Mr Bradley is a highly respected public official with more than 30 years experience in the Queensland and South Australian public sectors including 16 years as Under Treasurer. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Diploma of Advanced Accounting, is a CPA and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Management and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. “The Government looks forward to working with Mr Bradley and the team at QTC to deliver financial reform,” Mr Nicholls said.
