2018 Grants saint john paul ii scholarships 

THE PAPAL FOUNDATION has had one clear purpose from its beginning days: To support our Holy Father and the universal Church in its charitable endeavors. We do this by dedicating our resources each year to fund programs and charities around the world that have been proposed for our support by the Holy Father.

In 2018, the Foundation will provide over $16 million in grants and scholarships. The grants we have approved include funds to expand classrooms for nursing students in Bethlehem, build a parish for families worshiping in Albania, open a medical center for patients in Jamaica, and build a formation center in Angola — a total of over 125 worthy projects and programs around the world. In September, priests, religious and lay faithful from Africa, India, Vietnam, Mexico and other countries around the world will receive Saint John Paul II scholarships to study in and prepare for a life of service to the Church and their home communities.

We are profoundly grateful for the faithful stewardship and prayers of all who have shared in our mission and continue to make our work possible. Eastern Europe The Middle East
