The draft begins with the first round on Thursday night, April 27 and continues Friday, April 28, with Rounds 2-3. The draft will conclude on Saturday, April 29 with Rounds 4-7. The NFL Draft, which had been held in Chicago in each of the past two years, returns to Philadelphia for the first time since 1961. Philadelphia’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel served as the location of the first NFL Draft in 1936. The city also hosted the event in 1949-50, 1953-54, 1956 (Rounds 1-3) and 1957-61.
