17TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF QUANTUM CHEMISTRY PROGRAMME JUNE 21st – 26th 2021 BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA icqc2021.org GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT the ICQC The International Congress of Quantum Chemistry (ICQC) is held triennially under the patronage of the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science. It is a unique opportunity for scientists working in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry to present and discuss the latest developments and research advances. The first ICQC took place in Menton, France in 1973, where it also returned after 45 years for its 16th edition. The 15th congress was organized in 2015 in Beijing, China. Majority of the lectures are invited, with a selected number of contributed talks given by young scientists. The rest of the contributions are presented in the form of a poster. The International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science (IAQMS) was established in Menton, France in 1967. Distinguished scientists from the area of quantum molecular research are periodically elected to join the academy, and throughout its history 14 Nobel Prize laureates became its members. Each year, the IAQMS awards a medal for a significant contribution to the research in the area of theoretical and computational chemistry. The award ceremony takes place during the ICQC congress.
