DODONI’s ‘Taste of Good’ programme supports local community and the ‘Stay Home’ campaign Weekly distribution of company products to high-risk and economically vulnerable groups in

DODONI, the leading dairy industry in , stands with vulnerable groups in the local Epirus community at this difficult time for Greece and joins the effort to contain the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by supporting the “Stay Home” message with action.

Specifically, aiming to provide essential assistance where truly needed and to protect public health, DODONI has teamed up with the Region of Epirus, the municipalities of and and the metropolitan churches of Ioannina and Arta to provide baskets of dairy products weekly to hundreds of at-risk and economically vulnerable groups in the area as a way of allowing them to “Stay Home”, stay healthy and stay safe.

The goal of the initiative is to help senior citizens to stay home and restrict their movements even further in order to protect themselves and their loved ones.

DODONI’s social undertaking begins Thursday, 2 April 2020, and initially will last one month. It may be extended to assist fellow citizens who have greater need at this time.

Highly aware of the difficult time everyone is experiencing, DODONI has already donated a large quantity of medical supplies to the University Hospital of Ioannina as part of the company’s “Taste of Good” programme to provide support for the critically important work being performed by medical and nursing personnel.

Mr Michalis Panagiotakis, Deputy CEO at the DODONI dairy industry, said: “The DODONI family consistently supports our local community and is always here to help our fellow citizens.
