ARK Year 8 French Booklet Autumn 2 In this booklet, there are three units of work. Each unit is split into two lessons. You should complete one lesson per week, either in school or at home. After each unit, there is a quiz which you must complete online. This quiz will test the previous two weeks’ work Week 1 Unit 1 Lesson 1: Qu’est-ce que tu as fait à Paris? Key grammar You can use c’était or j’ai trouvé ça + an adjective to give your opinion about something in the past. Ex: Hier, j’ai visité la tour Eiffel. C’était fabuleux./ J’ai trouvé ça fabuleux (Yesterday, I visited the Eiffel tower. It was fabulous./I found it fabulous.) With a negative, c’était works like this: Ce n’était pas cher.
