This edition, indeed, has been particularly successful, from the point of view of the overall organization, of the presence of eminent keynote speakers and of the participation of numerous delegates coming from many member countries. In this case, it has been very successful also the choice of the topic of the Symposium, which gave us the opportunity to emphasize one of the basic concepts of our organization, which says that Sport Science is really a ―fundamental tool of modern sports management‖. We have also chosen this occasion to re-launch the CISM Academy. And now, thank to this old-new structure we will be able to contribute to reach some of the most important CISM goals. In fact, our intention is now, more than ever, to create synergies and interactions among the different Delegations, from one side, and between our Organization and the world of sport from the other side. We are aware of the needs of an advanced scientific strategy and we want to be ready also for these challenges. I would like to conclude, by addressing special appreciation and gratitude to all the members of the Czech Delegation, to the kind speakers, to the participants and, last but not least, to our two fellow ―actors‖, Lt-Col Suzana Tkavc and Maj.     DEFENCE WHITE PAPER OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA 2020 Dear Readers, Both in everyday life, and in the operation and development of a country, we occasio- nally need to stop and strategically assess our efforts to see whether they are leading towards the desired objective. The result of our strategic reflection is the Defence White Paper of the Republic of Slovenia, which represents a high level of consistency of views within the defence sector on the future security environment, and on the necessary measures to enhance the country's defence capacity, taking into account real human, economic and other capabilities. The purpose of the Defence White Paper is to define a gradual long-term development of the Republic of Slovenia’s defence system in order to ensure the necessary levels of capacity and preparedness for the implementation of national defence, and the fulfilment of the adopted international obligations. I believe that, through diligent work and analysis, we have acquired a good basis for directing the further development of the defence system, which will be able to function effectively and in accordance with its mission. This document provides guidance for the change, reform and strengthening of both military and non-military defence mechanisms to meet the contemporary security challenges. It provides the starting point for the preparation of planning documents which will specify the key defence objectives by 2035, and the way they are implemented. The security of the country and its citizens is not self-evident and should not be taken for granted. Jeg har gjennom bruk av generell teori om prestasjonsbasert avlønning forsøkt å identifisere klubbenes lønnsystemer. Prestasjonslønningene kommer i hovedsak gjennom gruppebaserte evalueringsformer, men de fleste klubbene praktiserer individuelle bonuser etter antall spilte kamper. I de fleste klubbene ser spillerne på lønningssystemene som rettferdige. Jeg har sett på utviklingen av norsk og europeisk fotballøkonomi det siste tiåret, og funnet at lønnsveksten har mangedoblet seg det siste tiåret i europeisk fotball, og den norske økonomien følger konjunkturene i den europeiske fotballøkonomien, bare i en mindre målestokk. Prestasjonsbasert avlønning har kommet som en følge av at klubbene ikke vil betale dyre lønninger til spillere som sitter mye på benken. Dette for at klubbene skal ha et lønnsnivå som står i forhold til klubbens inntjening. 2 Forord I Iver Bragliens kurs Styring av større foretak høsten 2005 fikk jeg en liten innføring i temaet prestasjonsbasert avlønning og bonussystemer. Dette virket svært interessant, og jeg ble inspirert til å skrive siviløkonomutredningen om temaet.
