College Reopen for the second and third year students on 6th June, 2019. Admission Work was Carried out for First year students with the assistance by NSS Students of Second and Third years FY admissions process on 7th June, 2019. BMM department organized an Industrial visit to National Museum of Indian Cinema for second year students on 14th June, 2019. The NSS Unit organized International Day of Yoga in association with ‘Ambika Yog Kutir’on 21st June, 2019. WDC organized a Seminar on skin and hair health and changing trends in adolescent behavior on 22nd June, 2019 by P&G Lecture on Gender Sensitization by WDC on 26th June, 2019. July-2019 Swami Vivekananda Punyatithi And Foundation Day was celebrated on 4th July, 2019. E-Cell organized a Workshop on “Dematerialization and DEMAT account opening session” on 11th July, 2019 by IIFL. A Seminar on Diet Counselling” by our Alumni Sangeeta Shivkumar on 12th July,2019 attended by our faculty members. WDC organized a Seminar on ‘Awareness on gender issues and its relevance’ on 12th July, 2019. Department of Economics organized a Lecture on “Deteriorating state of urban Infrastructure” on 18th July,2019 by Nirali Vaidya. Self-Finance students visited High Court of Bombay on 19th July and 26th July,2019. DLLE organized orientation program for DLLE students on vocational and community development project, held on 22nd July, 2019. NSS units volunteers helped the Indian Development Foundation in making and distribution of Sanitary kits to the under privileged girls on 23rd July ,2019 Self-Finance Students participated in free screening of movie *URI-THE SURGICAL STRIKE* at PVR Cinemas Goregaon West on the occasion of KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS along with Prof Mayur Shah on 26th July, 2019. Orientation Programme for Students of first year of aided course as well as of first year of unaided courses was conducted on 27th July, 2019 Students were informed about the Scheme of Examination, Rules and regulations of the college, academic and extra- curricular activities of the college and also about the discipline rules. NSS Unit organized Orientation Programme for the first year students on 29th July, 2019. Department of Economics conducted a quiz competition for students on 30th July, 2019. August-2019 E-Cell organized a seminar on “Me and Corporate” on 1st August, 2019 by Dr. Zarin Sethna. The PTA first meeting for academic year was conducted on 3rd August, 2019 and 10th August , 2019 .for the parents of all the classes of all the programs. Green Club organized Poster making,( Theme: Air Pollution) Collage making ,( Theme: Air Pollution) and Best Out of Waste (Theme: Open for all) competitions held on 6th August, 2019. Students Visited a Nehru planetarium (clean we go) on 10th August, 2019. NSS unit conducted a tree plantation drive was conducted in Manori on 11th August, 2019. Internal Examination started from 13th August,2019. (Class Test Semester -I/III) NSS volunteers joined hands with IDF to help Flood affected people of Kolhapur by collection and packing food grains and clothes and other basic necessities, from 13th to 15th August, 2019. Department of Commerce organized a Interactive workshop on “Discovering Life Goals” on 14th August, 2019 by Chetan Shah. NSS Volunteers Tied a rakhi to police on 15th August, 2019. Students participated in different drama events of Mumbai University Youth Festival such as One-Act Play, Skit, Mono-Acting and Miming on 16th August, 2019 and 27th August, 2019. Bridge Course in Mathematics and Statistics was started and conducted from 21st August, 2019 for semester I. (40hrs session). It helped in boosting confidence of the students who had not opted for Mathematics and Statistics in 11th and 12th,which further helped them in scoring better marks in exams. Green Club of vivek College are Organized Workshop on ‘Soil less Gardening’ by Founder, CEO of Hydro Farm Biotech on 22nd August, 2019. E-Cell organized a Guest lecture on ‘Ethics and Entrepreneurship’ on 23rd August,2019 by Ms. Sushmeeta Bubna, who is visually impaired, is the CEO at ASCENT NETWORKS PVT LTD and Founder Director of Voice Vision. Innovators team in association with Yash Skill Institute organized a “Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry’ on 23rd August, 2019. Department of Commerce organized a Motivational lecture on the topic “Emotional Wellbeing” on 26th August , 2019 by Ms. Kumud Singh, (Clinical Psychologist). NSS organized Blood Donation Drive was conducted in association with Meenatai Thackeray Blood Bank on 26th and 27th August , 2019. E-cell members organized Pan Card drive for all the students above 18 years of age on 26th and 29th August, 2019. DLLE Organized a campaign on ‘Go Green Ganapati Festival’ held on 28th and 29th August, 2019. BFM students enrolled under techno serve training for career and job placement 30th August, 2019. September-2019 NSS organized Thalassemia test was conducted for all Third-Year students in association with Think Foundation. Department of BBI organized a Seminar on “Career in Insurance” on 11th September, 2019 by Parag Sathe from LIC. The NSS team volunteered at Bangur Nagar Goregaon (West). And controlled the Ganapati visarjan crowd, aiding to the local police on the day of the event on 12th September , 2019. NSS Volunteers participated in Post Ganapati Visarjan Juhu Beach Cleaning activity along with Indian Development Foundation on 13th September, 2019. The Department of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY organized a seminar on “Career Opportunities in IT” on 14th September, 2019. by our President Shri. Sriram and R. Srivaramangai, Head of Department of Information Technology, University of Mumbai. E-cell was established with an objective to develop the entrepreneurship qualities and to achieve this goal, we arranged a talk on “Entrepreneurial thinking “which was held on 17th September 2019 by Mr. Swapnil Pillai. E-Cell organized a talk on “Data Analysis” to the students of B. Sc. IT on 18th September, 2019 by Mr. Anushul Gupta. Department of BFM organized a Guest lecture for the student on ‘Mutual Fund Management on 19th September , 2019. Remedial lectures were conducted for the benefit of ATKT students of semester I and III APY (Anna Poorna Yojana) Project organized by DLLE students on 21st September and 27th September.2019. WDC organized a workshop cum demo by SRV hospital on ‘Gender Equity and our heart beat’ on 24th September, 2019. WDC organized an Essay writing competition on women and law, Women Empowerment through education, women and safety in September, 2019. NSS unit celebrated NSS day with the tree plantation on 24th September,2019. Department of Environmental Studies Organized Awareness Program on ‘Environmental Cleanliness’ on 30th September,2019. Exhibition ‘Prakriti’ was held on 30th September, 2019. Theme: Display of Eco-friendly products designed & made by students. October-2019 Talkathon Inaugurated by Mr. Radhakrishnan Pillai & DGP Shivanandan on 2nd October 2019 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji on 2nd October, 2019 Regular and ATKT Semester End Exam started from 5th October ,2019.(Semester I/III) Saraswati Pooja was held on 7th October, 2019 at 11.30am Department of BFM organized a Workshop on ‘How to Accelerate your Career through Creative Thinking and How to crack the Post-graduation Entrance Exam’ by Prof. David Wittenberg for TYBFM students on 17th October, 2019. November-2019 Library Audit Successfully completed on 13th November, 2019 by Dr.Alka Wadhwana, Librarian of KES Shroff College of Commerce. DLLE association organized DLLE Week from 25th November 2019 to 30th November 2019 with Poster Making competition, Essay Writing Competition, Food Fest, Fireless Cooking, Street Play and Story Telling with a social message. Sale of withdrawal books and magazines were held on 28th & 29th November, 2019. Books and periodicals were sold at concessional rate to the students. Department of Business Communication conducted a ‘Effective English Language Certificate Programme’ from 24th November to 11th December, 2019. Department of Mathematics/Statistics/Computer organized a Seminar on “Skills in Excel” for students of SYBCom and TYBCom on 29th November, 2019 by Ms. Sanchita from MKCL Goregaon. The BMM students attended programme on Career in Animations organized by the Arena Animations held on 29th November, 2019. NSS Students participated in Maha walkathon on 30th November , 2019. December-2019 NSS volunteers performed a street play on HIV/AIDS Awareness in the college. Department of Commerce organised a course in ‘Capital’ in association with BSE Brokers forum from 2nd December to 9th December , 2019 for SYBCom students. Our college conducted Annual Athletic Meet on 5th December, 2019 at Prabodhan Krida Bhavan located just a few meters away from our college. WDC organized a Guest lecture on Police and you know your rights by Mr. Dolphy D’Souza on 9th December, 2019. Industrial visit of Self-Finance students at Parveen Industry at Igatpuri and Ambar Forge (P) Ltd at Nashik on 9th and 10th December,2019. Department of Commerce arranged a visit at BSE on 10th December,2019. Department of commerce arranged a Motivational lecture on “Emotional & Spiritual Quotient’ on 11th December , 2019 by Mukund Madhava Das from ISCON. Vivek College of Commerce organized a Faculty Development Program on “Voice Preservation through Yoga” on 13th December,2019 by Mr. Shrikant Kshisagar to our faculty members. Vivek College of Commerce organized a Faculty Development Program on “Enhancing Teaching Learning Skills” on 13th December,2019. Student council’s Orientation Meeting was held for introducing all members and meeting for all the activities to be conducted were decided time to time on 14th December, 2019 Department of BMM organized an Industrial Visit for the students at Nasik on 16th December, 2019.
