I certainly spent entirely too long floundering and trying to find “MY THING” and I have designed a system that will unlock your unique talent and evoke the highest version of YOU stat!! As you learn to direct your thoughts, energy and focus; your purpose will rise to the surface and make itself known. Your calling will find you when you’re in an expansive state, open, free and ready to receive. As you practice a set of daily rituals you’ll learn to effortless manage distractions and opportunities that are NOT meant for you (although some are so enticing). When we are out of alignment we tend to take jobs we don’t love, stay in relationships that are unbalanced and treat our bodies in a way that binds us up until we forget what happy and free feels like. The rising entrepreneur knows to take action on their purpose and ONLY their soul purpose. Once you know what you are meant to do in this world do that one thing exclusively, obsessively and with all your heart. MY INNER WORLD CREATES MY OUTER WORLD Practicing a set of spiritual disciplines and daily rituals will ensure that you find your path, keep fear and self-sabotage at bay and take action to produce amazing life results. You cannot change what you’re not aware of. By cultivating a spiritual practice you will increase your awareness and therefore conscious choices. Every moment of awareness erases a moment of conditioning, enabling YOU to be the creator of your life & business. 5 WWW.SOULRISING.COM MINDSET SPIRITUAL PRACTICE In every moment you have a choice between two energies, fear or love, expansion or contraction, creation or destruction. When you find yourself stuck, afraid, worried, doubting or lost, it’s a clear indication that you have made a series of unconscious choices. The solution to feeling any or all of those unpleasant things is to make a new and conscious choice! Sometimes you have to go as far as believing the very opposite of how you perceive things to be. Choose to believe you can, to believe you’re worthy, to believe that you cannot fail and that the universe supports you. Choose to believe that ideas, abundance and love flow to you effortlessly. What you believe at your core is exactly what you will see. “In any give moment we have two options: to step into growth or to step back into safety.” ~A. Maslow I’ve put together a process that will keep you from feeling stuck, burnt-out, lost and misaligned. Soak up the following pages and consciously choose to live on your terms!! (Load up any worries or doubt, simply list and release them onto paper) What do you want for yourself right now? What’s will having that do for you? What other opportunities might open up for you as a result? Who do you want to share this with? What obstacles are you currently facing? How committed are you to creating changes in your life? (10 being the most committed you could possibly be) 7 WWW.SOULRISING.COM MINDSET BELIEFS Close your eyes and whatever you do, DO NOT imagine a blue duck. A blue duck walking across green grass. I bet you imagined that blue duck didn't you? It would be incredibly difficult not to unless you immediately uploaded something else, like a pink elephant. I bet you are even picturing a pink elephant now, aren't you? The brain is unable to think in negatives, which can be an extremely powerful tool when used correctly. By using affirmative statements you can reprogram your beliefs so they serve your highest evolution. Beliefs are the origin of your life results. If you are experiencing something unpleasant or unwanted it is because of an active belief living in your brain. By utilizing positive affirmations we will reporgram the root cause of your misalignment. A positive belief causes illuminating THOUGHTS, which then trigger empowered ACTION and RESULTS in your success! 8 WWW.SOULRISING.COM MINDSET BELIEFS Your beliefs create your reality. Your vision for the future should be treated as a fact, not a hope. Your affirmations should inspire you, make you smile and affirm your power. Choose your personal affirmations and say them aloud three times a day for at least 22 days. (1) Joss Whedon has often stated that each year of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was planned to end in such a way that, were the show not renewed, the finale would act as an apt summation of the series so far. This was obviously truer of some years than others – generally speaking, the odd-numbered years were far more clearly possible endings than the even ones, offering definitive closure of a phase in Buffy’s career rather than a slingshot into another phase. Both Season Five and Season Seven were particularly planned as artistically satisfying conclusions, albeit with very different messages – Season Five arguing that Buffy’s situation can only be relieved by her heroic death, Season Seven allowing her to share, and thus entirely alleviate, slayerhood. Being the Chosen One is a fatal burden; being one of the Chosen Several Thousand is something a young woman might live with. (2) It has never been the case that endings in Angel were so clear-cut and each year culminated in a slingshot ending, an attention-grabber that kept viewers interested by allowing them to speculate on where things were going.     The Center gives people of all faiths, backgrounds, and ages the space to dream, grow, and become fully alive— physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Summer Camp at The Center is truly more of a season than just an event. Our camp programs bring an energy to The Center unlike anything else we do here. Camp days here are filled with laughter, wonder, growth, the chatter of children, enthusiastic singing, paint smears, swinging hammocks, mosquito bites and memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Summer Camp 2021 was no exclusion to COVID’s fury and sadly we had to run Camp without any overnight programs for the second year in a row. Overnight camp is magical. Children become immersed in an almost surreal life. They gain so much self-confidence and independence. They disconnect from devices and recon- nect with nature. They are surrounded by friends and fun 24/7. Having to postpone overnight camp was dis- heartening. Initially, I felt that so much was being lost. And though we did miss out on the magic of overnight camp, I am feeling so proud of what was accomplished here this summer at Camp! We ran eight, one week sessions of daytime program this summer. Children, as young as three years old, at- tended Junior Farmers for just one hour a day while six-eight year olds attended for three hours a day. Our Farm Explorers, ages seven-twelve, attend camp for seven hours a day. And our Farm & Ranch Campers, ages nine-seventeen, attended for a full twelve hours a day! And let me tell you, our exceptional team of counselors and camp staff delivered a phenomenal camp experience to exactly 750 children this summer.

This book is written for people who want to make drama a part of their church services. As I write this, I am thinking of the many people who have approached me over the years requesting resources to help them in launching, sustaining, or developing a church drama program. Among them have been ministers, members of worship committees or teams, youth leaders, and trained actors and directors. Sometimes they are people who have been asked by the pastor to begin or upgrade a drama program at their church. The request for resources often comes in this form: “we would like to do more drama in our church.” The question indicates that they are doing some drama, perhaps the youth group does skits, the children perform a Christmas pageant or musical, or church members read the story of the Passion aloud on Palm Sunday.
