SEVENOAKS DISTRICT COUNCIL LOCAL PLAN CONSULTATION (AUGUST 2017)

The Council is launching the Local Plan Issues and Options consultation on 3rd August 2017 and this will run until 5pm on 5th October 2017.

This document is available on the Council’s website (www..gov.uk/issuesandoptions). It can also be purchased for £10 from SDC offices (Argyle Road, Sevenoaks) or viewed at District libraries.

The first step to forming the new Local Plan is to ask people who live, work and relax in the District for their opinions. We have tried to identify the ‘issues’ that the District will face over the next twenty years, based on the evidence we have gathered so far, and suggest ‘options’ for dealing with them. We are consulting on the high-level strategy for the future development of the District, rather than consulting on the future of individual sites, which will take place in early 2018.

 By completing our online survey at www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/issuesandoptions

Everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw, where you could win one of three Amazon gift cards worth £250, £150 and £50. The prize draw will be take place in October.

The consultation period runs from 3rd August to 5th October 2017 at 5pm.

Come and meet our Planning Policy Team at our drop-in sessions during September. No appointment is necessary so come and visit us on:
