In addition to closer cooperation with the partner companies, the shipyards’ purchasing and logistics departments will also harmonise and optimise their processes, thus enabling an ERP system to be used across all sites in the future. This will bring about further improvements in our collabo- ration with partner companies. A clear sign of the closer integration of the shipyards is the awarding of a multi-site “Partner des Jahres” (Partner of the Year) title for the first time. Having awarded the “Partner des Jahres” title in Papenburg for the last ten years and in Warnemünde for the last two years, we will now name our suppliers of the year in Turku.
