FINAL SCORE: RAVENS 31, BRONCOS 17 ORTON TURNS IN ANOTHER STRONG PERFORMANCE Broncos QB Kyle Orton tied a franchise record with his fourth consecutive 300‐yard passing game, as he completed 23‐of‐38 passes (60.5%) for 314 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions (104.5 rtg.) in Denver’s 31‐17 loss to Baltimore. Orton joins QB Brian Griese as the only players in club annals to record four consecutive games with 300‐plus yards passing in a season. Orton has passed for the most yards in team history through the first five games of a season and ranks sixth in NFL history in that category. With over 100 yards receiving in Denver’s opener, he became the 16th player in NFL history to record 100 yards receiving in at least four of the first five games of a season. The eighth‐year player, who entered the game ranked second in the NFL in receiving yards, has recorded the most receiving yards (589) through his team’s first five games in franchise history. In Denver’s record books, he trails only K Jason Elam, who converted 19 consecutive field goals on two occasions during his career with the Broncos.
