Hats . Comspring / Summerwww . Seeberger SPRING /SUMMER 2019 WWW.SEEBERGER-HATS.COM “BRIDGES ARE ONLY A TEMPORARY SOLUTION” So goes the saying. And it's right. But why “only”? Some are captivating; we marvel at others – be they physical bridges or metaphorical ones. Bridges bridge gaps; they are a shady twilight zone; a to and a from. Sometimes bridges even require a bit of courage. So why “only”? At first glance it might be “only” a bridge. But a second look can reveal entire worlds. In our case: tradition, well-founded craftsmanship, the finest of materials and an incredible devotion to innumerable details. “Forms and colours are not intrinsically beautiful, unless they are born of emotional desire”, said Ernst Ludwig Kirchner once upon a time. The expressionist and free thinker was speaking to us from the heart. SEEBERGER – EST. 1890 REVEALS HIDDEN TREASURES. It is the soul that turns the paint into a picture – and this applies to more than just painting. In our craft, too, nothing would be possible without it. Only with soul can a simple hat be transformed into a Seeberger. Created to inspire and to dream. Whatever embodies the soul in this way becomes a bridge in itself. How else could you describe it when a striking adornment transforms its wearer into an expression of spirit and fantasy, and quite simply of everything that makes her unique? “There is something secret behind people and things” – another of Kirchner's sayings. With this in mind, let's get acquainted with the hidden and expose it – with the very bridges that we have. Even if they are “only” hats.
