Artists from all over the country descended on the Centrum Saturday, Feb. 17 to celebrate the hip hop movement at the Second Annual Minnesota Hip Hop Summit hosted here at Concordia. As Saturday nights in Knutson Center go, it was like few others. The decibels soared and the clock ticked as the performers' enthusiasm translated into a marathon five and a half hour show that ranged from spoken word poetry to jazzy saxophone-based hip hop.
