Residency Analysis of Alaska's Workers by Firm-2005 Residency Analysis of Alaska's Workers by Firm-2005 Prepared by: Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development Research and Analysis Section January 2007 For more information, telephone Jeff Hadland at (907) 465-6031 or email [email protected] Visit the Research and Analysis internet site at http://almis.labor.state.ak.us About This Report AS 23.20.110 allows for the release of information showing the number of resident and nonresident workers by firm for those Alaska employers who had 20 or more workers during the year. Residency is calculated by matching workers reported by Alaska employers with the two most recent Permanent Fund Dividend files (2005 and 2006). Workers shown include all workers employed at any time during the year with that employer. If a worker applied for a Permanent Fund Dividend in 2006 or received a Permanent Fund Dividend in 2005 they are considered residents for purposes of this report. For complete methodological information, see "Nonresidents Working in Alaska-2005" available from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Research and Analysis Section and at http://almis.labor.state.ak.us.
