Marc P. Hurowitz, DO, MBA, FAAFP Chief Executive Officer, Temple Physicians, Inc. Executive Director, Hospital – Jeanes Campus

Dr. Hurowitz serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Temple Physicians and Executive Director of Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus. Prior to this, he was Chief Medical Officer at TUH – Northeastern Campus. Dr. Hurowitz earned a business degree from the Temple University Fox School of Business Executive MBA program in 2006.

Before transitioning to healthcare administration, Dr. Hurowitz managed a large private practice for 14 years. Trained as a family physician, he cared for several generations of patients in a neighborhood setting. Dr. Hurowitz is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Marc S. Prizer, CPA Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Prizer oversees financial matters for Temple Physicians including financial reporting, patient accounting, budgeting, cash management, acquisition, due diligence and physician contracting. Mr. Prizer joined Temple Physicians at its inception in 1996 after spending 11 years working for public accounting firms in New York City and . Mr. Prizer holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from City University of New York, and a Certified Public Accountant license in .

Renee Reedman Associate Vice President, Operations

With over two decades of operations management experience, Ms. Reedman successfully oversees a team of four Regional Directors who together are responsible for the more than 50 clinical locations of Temple Physicians.

Ms. Reedman joined the management team of Temple Physicians in 1996, and excelled at recruiting new physician practices during Temple’s expansion into new areas of Philadelphia and Bucks County. Ms. Reedman possesses a unique gift for transitioning private practices into Temple practices while maintaining the best qualities of both. She is especially sensitive to our physicians’ desire to retain their local identity while evolving into their new role within Temple Health. Mark F. Obenrader, MD, PhD Medical Director, Clinical and Quality, Primary Care

Dr. Obenrader became Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Temple Physicians, Inc. in 2015. Dr. Obenrader also serves as a family physician at Temple Family Medicine at Ft. Washington.

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Obenrader earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and his PhD from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a family practice residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Temple University Fels Research Institute and Institute on Aging.

Mark B. Abraham, DO, JD Medical Director, Urgent Care

Dr. Abraham serves as the Medical Director for Temple ReadyCare. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Abraham completed an internship at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital of the Mercy Catholic Health System in Darby, PA and a residency in family practice from Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA. He is board-certified in Family Practice/ OMT.

Prior to joining Temple ReadyCare, Dr. Abraham served as an urgent care physician at Capital Health System—Regional Medical Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level Two Trauma Center. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Rowan University-SOM (formerly UMDNJSOM). He was Co-Medical Director of the UMDNJ-SOM family practice in Sewell, NJ. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. He graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law and was admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Alyssa M. Mullen, MHA Director of Quality and Compliance

Ms. Mullen joined Temple Physicians, Inc. in the Quality and Compliance department and has worked to establish many quality-related projects for TPI.

Ms. Mullen leads the patient-centered medical home implementation and transformation in TPI primary care offices and is the principal writer of the PCMH application. Under her direction and working in close collaboration with Operations and office providers and staff, 23 TPI practices achieved Level 3 patient- centered medical home recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. She received her Master in Health Administration from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
