Casting Results: All roles will be contacted directly by phone to verify acceptance before cast list is posted on the Website www.pittsburgcommunitytheatre.org and Facebook. Additionally, everyone cast will receive a soft copy of the script when cast via email and then a hard copy of the script will be available at the first rehearsal. Those who are not cast will be notified via email.

PCT Membership: All actors cast are required to join PCT. A one-time membership fee of $10 for an individual or $20 for a family membership is due at the first rehearsal for new members. To maintain an active membership, you need only help out with one production per season in some way. For returning members, as long as your membership is current, (you participated last season) this fee is not required.

Set / Prop / Costume Workshop Participation: PCT is a community theatre and we require everyone’s help to make the magic happen. The cast is required to participate in set construction/painting, prop or costume workshops. We require a minimum of 6 hours where needed. Family and friends are welcome to help. Special considerations will be handled on a case per case basis. Important: All cast and crew are required to assist load-in and strike. The time for load-in/strike is not part of the minimum 6 hour workshop requirement.

Costumes: At the first rehearsal, we will get your measurements and clothing sizes. PCT provides most all costumes, if you have any appropriate costume pieces, work with the costume manager to get clothing approved. Note: Undergarments and personal items such as nylons, slips, etc. are the responsibility of the actor. We recommend that you wear appropriate undergarments for modesty if you are uncomfortable changing with others and for quick changes if necessary behind the set.

Tickets: Tickets can be purchased directly at California Theatre box office, in person, by phone. Cast and crew are eligible for 2 complimentary tickets. Simply advise the ticket agent you are part of the cast/crew and your name.

DVDs: (optional). PCT video tapes each show and produces a DVD. This is a great keepsake for you. The cost is $25.00.

Photography: (optional). We will schedule a photographer to take headshots for the lobby and to take photos of the show. A Photo CD will be produced by PCT. This is a great keepsake for you. The cost is $15.00.
