In addition to her many activities, Toni Field (now mostly retired) has also joined the Brooklyn Accordion Club! You go girl! Harvey Cort and I went on a tenday cruise to the Caribbean in March. The ship made stops at San Juan, P.R., St. Thomas and St. Martin. We went to a beautiful beach at St. Martin. We also especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of sitting on the deck and watching the ocean. An article that I wrote, “Seeking the Shadow Sister in Annie Ernaux’s L’autre fille,” was published in the March, 2017 edition of The French Review.
