About the visit Ping Shan is one of the most historically significant regions in the district in Hong Kong. The [Date] Tang Clan who settled in Ping Shan as early as the 29 May 2010 (Sat) 12th century, is still one of the major clans nowadays in the New Territories. [Assembly Time] 9:45am Established in 1993 by the Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) with the full support of [Gathering Venue] the Ping Shan Tang Clan, the Ping Shan Heritage WEST RAIL Tin Shui Wai Station Exit E3 Trail links various historic buildings which are (西鐵天水圍站 E3出口) located along a convenient walking route. In 2007, the AMO and the Ping Shan Tang Clan [Dismiss Time] collaborated again for the opening of the Ping 1:00pm Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre (the Centre). [Quota] 25 (First-come-first served) The Centre is converted from the Old Ping Shan Police Station built in 1899, and the main building is [Fee] a two-storey structure with an embracing arched HKIA Members HK$ 70 verandah which introduces local folk culture and Non-HKIA Members HK$ 170 heritage along the Trail. The Centre comprises three galleries: the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery, [CPD Credit hours] the Gallery of Ping Shan Heritage Trail and the 3 hours Community Heritage Gallery. Remarks 1. The site visits will be guided by the respective project architects from the Architectural Services Department and officer from Leisure & Cultural Services Department, HKSAR Government. 2.
