Let's start with the Theme Parks… With four parks Walt Disney World® Resort has something for kids of all ages. Experience a world of fascination at Epcot® where you can take a tour of the sights and sounds of eleven countries. The adventure continues at Disneyʼs Animal Kingdom Theme Park® where you will enjoy the largest animal-themed park in the world. Hollywood glitz and glamour is the feature presentation at Disneyʼs Hollywood Studios®. Inside the Magic Kingdom®, dreams comes to life as seven unique lands are the ticket to adventure that will have you and your family truly captivated. A visit to SeaWorld® is a must. It has has many live shows and attractions including rides and animal exhibits. Many of these attractions, such as Manta and Wild Arctic, combine the two, with both animal exhibits and a ride. Here are some of the most popular: Mako: A hypercoaster named after the fastest species of shark in the oceans. Dubbed the longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster in the Orlando area. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin: A themed area headlined by a motion-based trackless dark ride featuring live penguin and alcid exhibits. Infinity Falls: Climb aboard your raft and prepare to get soaked while reaching peak excitement on Infinity Falls. Wind your way around flowing fountains, surprise geysers and breathtaking waterfalls as you explore tropical ruins-themed surroundings with your fellow raft-mates. Then hang on as roaring world- class rapids send you flying through thrilling chutes and splashing turns before plunging you down one of the tallest drop of its kind into churning whitewater. Sea Lion High: The New Class is filled with amazing animal behaviors and fun audience interaction as Clyde and Seamore go back to school in slippery pursuit of their diplomas. Go to the head of the class in SeaWorld's fresh new take on a day at Sea Lion High. Those lovable sea lion stars, Clyde and Seamore, are back in school and this semester the SeaWorld Mime is ready to join the fun. From the antics of Opie Otter to the splash-tastic water effects, Sea Lion High is once again your SeaWorld destination for laughs. Universal Studios® is composed of themed areas and attractions based on the film industry. Visitors get themed dining and shopping, a variety of special events throughout the year, and may even catch an actual film crew at work on the backlot. Here are the main areas: Universal's Islands of Adventure: is a theme park composed of seven distinct "islands" that are themed to various forms of adventures. Visitors start off in the Port of Entry and make their way through the various islands – Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, based on the popular Harry Potter franchise, is the only island added after the park opened. CityWalk features shopping, nightclubs, dining venues, an AMC Movie Theater, and a Blue Man Group show. There are many night clubs there including Groove, City Walks's Rising Star (a karaoke club with a live band) and Bob Marley, A Tribute to Freedom (both a night club and restaurant). Some notable locations are The Cowfish, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Emeril's, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and Voodoo Doughnut. Casual dining locations include: Moe's Southwest Grill, Burger King Whopper Bar, Panda Express, Red Oven Pizza Bakery and Fusion Bistro Sushi & Sake Bar. Universal CityWalk Orlando opened over the former parking lot and entrance, as part of the expansion that created the Universal Orlando Resort. You will arrive at the resort park in one of two multi-story car parks, then travel on covered moving sidewalks over Universal Boulevard into CityWalk. From there, you can proceed into either of the theme parks, Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure. The Universal Store offers merchandise from both parks. Volcano Bay: This isn't your typical water park. Universal calls Volcano Bay its "third gate," a water theme park. The powers that be have poured in the same level of detail, storytelling and immersion for Volcano Bay as they did with Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. Universal wants you to feel as though you've just discovered this island paradise and won't ever want to leave. There are thoughtful details that transcend the typical water park experience. Families will especially appreciate the conveniences of family restrooms scattered around the park that include private, roll-in showers. There is also ample seating and umbrellas in the sand at most rides' end, multiple bathrooms and multiple life jacket locations. These seemingly little details make for a much more relaxing theme and water park experience. There is also TapuTapu. This free, wearable device allows guests to virtually queue and more (but you do have to give it back before you leave!). At the heart of the island stands Krakatau™, the mighty Fire and Water Volcano. Towering 200 feet above the tropical landscape, Krakatau streams waterfalls during the day and fiery lava effects at night. Inside the cavernous volcano the Waturi people dare you to brave a variety of heart- pounding water slides… Krakatau™ Aqua Coaster. Honorary Waturi can experience the power of Krakatau™ on this amazing ride. Four-person canoes slide upward through the mists and into the dark twists and turns within the volcano before emerging with a plunge through a shimmering waterfall. Ko’okiri Body Plunge™ Join in the centuries-old tradition of honouring the volcano god, Vol, by braving the incredible Ko’okiri Body Plunge. Featuring a 70-degree fall through a drop door and 125 feet of screaming, white-knuckle fun, this dizzying descent ends with a watery tribute from Vol himself. Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides™ Join Kala and Tai Nui where sea and sky meet and take a leap of faith from high atop the volcano. Twin trap doors simultaneously drop two guests down clear, intertwining tubes before sending them joyfully splashing into the turquoise waters below. Punga Racers™ A favourite among Waturi children of all ages, Punga Racers send single riders on their manta ray mats sliding down four lanes through underwater sea caves.
