We believe, through our professional experience and knowledge of rugby we offer the perfect environment for players to LEARN, GROW and THRIVE within the sport. LIVE LIKE A PRO Through our experience of playing, both in New Zealand and Europe, we want to bring the best of New Zealand grassroots rugby to clubs around the globe while also teaching players about our Maori heritage. We work alongside amateur rugby CLUBS and PLAYERS to help enhance their rugby careers through ONLINE coaching and rugby CAMPS around the globe. VISION ‘’Using Maori culture and Rugby as a tool to create future world leaders…’’ HAKA RUGBY CAMP We introduce New Zealand Maori Rugby and Maori culture through protocols such as Karakia, Haka, Waiata, food and style of play. Haka Rugby Global coaches are all Kiwis, with playing experience in the highest competitions from around the world. ‘’Learn our own Haka Rugby Global HAKA’’ COACHING ‘’All HRG coaches are IRB qualified/ recognised, ex All Blacks and have played at the highest level of the GAME’’ Troy Nathan Troy is the co-owner and co-founder of Haka Rugby Global. He is recently retired as a playing/coaching professional rugby in Italy in the Top 10 competition. He has a wealth of experience playing for New Zealand age grades, in Rugby & Rugby League. NZ Warriors development, Counties-Manukau in the NPC, Chiefs in Super Rugby, Connacht & Glasgow Warriors in the Heineken Cup and European Pro12. He currently holds an IRB Coaching Level 3 Certificate. Regan Sue Regan is co-owner and co-founder of Haka Rugby Global. He is a qualified Strength & Conditioning trainer who has been working in the industry for 20 years. He has a fountain of rugby knowledge, having played NPC & Top14 and coached in more than 30 countries worldwide. At present Regan is the North Harbour Bs skills & backs coach in New Zealand. He currently holds an IRB Coaching Level 4 Certificate. Glen Osbourne Glen Osbourne HRG WELCOMES ALL BLACK #946 TO THE WHANAU Growing up in rural New Zealand, Glen Osborne knew it would take a lot of hard work and dedication to reach his goal of becoming an All Black. Glen has had a very impressive rugby career having played for Wanganui and North Harbour in the New Zealand National Provincial Championship and the Waikato Chiefs and the Hurricanes in the Super 12 Competition. He also played for Biarritz in France and Ricoh in the Japanese league. Glen's determined nature to succeed earned him a place in every team with the black jersey, from NZ Maoris, NZ Sevens, NZ Colts, NZ Divisional, NZ Academy, NZ A to his ultimate goal of donning the All Blacks jersey. Osborne made his debut for the All Blacks against Canada in 1995, scoring 2 tries on debut. He became the All Blacks’ first choice full back during the 1995 Rugby World Cup where he played in five of New Zealand’s six RWC matches. He continued to play internationally until 1999, when he finished his international career in style scoring two tries in his final test against Italy at the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Osborne achieved 29 caps for the All Blacks during his career. Angus MacDonald Angus MacDonald HRG WELCOMES ALL BLACK #1061 TO THE TRIBE Angus MacDonald has played for Auckland, the Auckland Blues in New Zealand, Glasgow Warriors in Scotland, Toyota Verblitz and Coco-Cola West Red Sparks in Japan and with international sides New Zealand Maori and the All Blacks in a career that began in 2001. MacDonald was part of the champion Blues Super 14 campaign in 2003 and has captained his province; at the young age of 24. Angus is known for his versatility, as he has played in various positions in the forwards including Lock, Flanker and Number 8. It was this ability to play multiple positions capably that led to his selection in the All Blacks 2005 Northern Hemisphere tour. Angus comes from a strong rugby bloodline as his father Hamish Macdonald and his uncle Doug Bruce played for the All Blacks, while another uncle Roddy Macdonald played for Northland and his brother was a Canterbury Colt. Sammy Tuitupou Sam Tuitupou MEET COACH SAMMY T!! A man that needs little introduction, SAM TUITUPOU, one of world rugby’s most dominant tacklers and runners. The former All Black has an extremely successful playing career under his belt thus far. Growing up in New Zealand, the powerhouse won world titles as captain for New Zealand at under 19 and under 21 levels and made his All Blacks debut in 2004, donning the black jersey from 2004 to 2006. Sam played for both Auckland and the Auckland Blues straight out of school. After an impressive carrer in NZ winning a number of championships, he made the move to England in 2007 when he signed with English Premiership side Worcester Warriors. After 3 seasons with the Warriors, Sam moved across the water to Irish Rugby giants Munster Rugby, becoming a firm fan favourite, nicknamed ‘Hacksaw Sam’ by the Munster supporters. As of the end of the 2011 season, Sam was once again dominating the English Premiership, this time with Sale Sharks, where he continues to play to date. DJ Forbes DJ Forbes HRG WELCOMES MOST CAPPED 7s INTERNATIONAL PLAYER DJ Forbes has been the one player who has defined the New Zealand sevens teams the past decade – his distinctive shaved head and at times bushy beard have been the hallmark of a player known for his physicality and bustling defence. He finished the 2015/16 season equalling the record for Sevens Series appearances, having taken part in 79 tournaments since pulling on the black jersey for the first time in 2006. A natural leader, he stepped away from the captaincy in 2015, to concentrate on getting in the best possible shape to win selection for the Olympic team. During his 10 years in black New Zealand has won six World Series titles and he earned a Commonwealth Games gold medal (Delhi, 2010) and silver (Glasgow, 2014). Forbes was International Sevens Player of the Year in 2008 and New Zealand Sevens Player of the Year in 2007, 2008 and 2014. Rugby SAFETY ‘’Rugby involves contact.
