Perugia – Cascia – Todi – Assisi – Spello - Gubbio 28 Aprile – 1 Maggio 2012 Perugia – Cascia – Todi – Assisi – Spello - Gubbio 28 Aprile – 1 Maggio 2012 Sabato 28 Aprile 2012 Ritrovo dei partecipanti. Ore 5,30 Bonate Sopra, ore 5.45 Presezzo. Sistemazione a bordo dell’autobus e partenza per PERUGIA (Km 500). Sistemazione in Hotel e pranzo. Nel pomeriggio visita guidata della città di Perugia. In serata rientro in Hotel. Cena e pernottamento. Perugia, con le stradine caratteristiche, le bellissime chiese, i palazzi maestosi e la sua storia millenaria, è un piccolo gioiello che si dischiude pian piano davanti agli occhi dei visitatori, lasciandosi scoprire in tutto il suo splendore. Perugia custodisce tesori artistici e monumentali che testimoniano il ricco passato e rendono giustizia al primato culturale del nostro Paese. Anche se conserva l'aspetto e il ritmo di vita di un piccolo borgo medievale fortificato, Perugia ha una vita cittadina molto intensa, legata soprattutto alla presenze di una delle più antiche Università degli Studi della penisola (fondata nel 1308), oltre che della maggiore Università per stranieri d'Italia. Non è quindi una città museo, piena di turisti di giorno e vuota di notte, ma un posto a cui dedicare qualcosa in più di una visita mordi e fuggi dedicata ai monumenti più importanti. Dalla Galleria Nazionale al Pozzo Etrusco , dall' Oratorio di San Bernardino al Corso Vannucci . Domenica 29 Aprile 2012 Prima colazione in Hotel. Trasferimento a CASCIA (Km. 105 ). Visita al Santuario di S.Rita. Santa Messa. Pranzo in Ristorante. Nel pomeriggio trasferimento a TODI (Km. 135 ). Visita guidata. L'origine del centro abitato di Cascia è antichissima, dovuta alla presenza nel territorio di popolazioni italiche che praticavano la pastorizia transumante. A cavallo tra il XIV e il XV secolo Cascia fa da sfondo alla vita e all’opera di Rita, al secolo Margherita Lotto, santa taumaturga universalmente nota, la cui celebrità ha trasformato la città e il vicino villaggio natio di Roccaporena in mete di continui pellegrinaggi. Todi è una tappa fondamentale di ogni viaggio in terra umbra. La città si distingue per la sua bellezza unica ed evocativa. Le sue origine risalgono al 7-8 secolo prima di Cristo, quando con il nome di Tutere segnava il confine delle terre etrusche. Todi conserva intatta una delle più belle piazza d'Italia: Piazza del Popolo , con i suoi edifici di rara bellezza come il Palazzo del Popolo (1214-1218), Palazzo dei Priori (XIV sec.) e Palazzo del Capitano (1290). Qust'ultimo è oggi sede della Pinacoteca la quale ospita una pala d'altare della scuola del Perugino. Piazza del Popolo è anche l'accesso alla Todi sotterranea dove si possono visitare le Cisterne Romane (I sec. a.C.), sistema idrico sotterraneo della città antica. La città è protetta da una doppia cinta muraria, esternamente etrusca ed internamente medievale. Rientro in Hotel (Km. 50). Cena e pernottamento. Lunedì 30 Aprile 2012 Prima colazione in Hotel. Partenza per ASSISI . (Km. 30) e SPELLO (Km. 15 ). Visita guidata per tutta la giornata. Pranzo in Hotel. Assisi è una cittadina medievale che ha conservato la sua originaria struttura architettonica, regalando al turista uno spettacolo davevro suggestivo. Se la città è splendida dal punto di vista architettonico e urbanistico, molto suggestive sono anche le aree limitrofe con i loro paesaggi verdi. Il territorio umbro regala in questa zona intense emozioni. Dal 2000 il complesso monumentale della Basilica di San Francesco e gli altri siti francescani sono stati inseriti nella lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità dall'Unesco. In città da non perdere è la Basilica , con la cripta di S. Francesco , la cappella di S. Caterina , la cappella di S. Martino , il tesoro della Basilica e i bellissimi affreschi di numerosi artisti come Giotto, Cimabue, Torriti e altri. Tra le chiese da vedere troviamo: S. Chiara , S. Maria Maggiore e il Duomo . Tra gli edifici pubblici c'è la Rocca Maggiore , da cui si può ammirare Assisi dall'alto. Nella Cattedrale di S. Ruffino si trova il Museo Capitolare . Nei dintorni da visitare c'è l' Eremo delle Carceri , l' Abbazia di S. Benedetto , Santa Maria degli Angeli e il convento di S. Damiano . Posta nella parte centro-orientale dell’Umbria tra Assisi e Foligno, Spello è adagiata sulla pendice meridionale del monte Subasio da dove si affaccia sulla fertile valle del fiume Topino. Per il notevole patrimonio ambientale, culturale ed artistico fa parte del club de “I Borghi più Belli d’Italia” . Rientro in Hotel (Km. 32 ). Cena e pernottamento . Martedì 1 Maggio 2012 Prima colazione in hotel e partenza per GUBBIO (Km 55). Visita guidata e pranzo in Ristorante . Nel pomeriggio partenza per il rientro (Km 490) . Arrivo in serata. The total specific activity due to the presence of K, Th and 238U in the environment is given in Bq/kg. Natural radioactivity was 30 30 characterized by means of gamma spectroscopy measurements performed by 20 adopting complementary survey methodologies, namely rock and soil San Giustino sampling, together with airborne gamma ray surveys. Referring to the Geological Database provided by the Geological Regional Service and based 50 on a 1:10000 scale survey, the 214 Cartographic Units (CUs) were divided into two groups: Deposits sensu lato (s.l.), comprising the 118 CUs corresponding i 2 0 3 20 0 Vasch to quaternary deposits and loose geological formations, and Rocks s.l., 30 20 consisting of 96 CUs of rocky geological formations.     The Sustainable City XIII 383 SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE IN THE OLD TOWN OF NORCIA, ITALY STEFANIA TRIFAN, CRISTINA OLGA GOCIMAN & CRISTINA VICTORIA OCHINCIUC Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest, Romania ABSTRACT The ancient towns have some characteristics of the sustainable city. The buildings are preserved, improved and adapted. The Sustainable Development Goals are fulfilled, and Norcia in Italy was a good example of how to live in a town with wonderful history and important economic achievements using local food technology. After the 2016 earthquakes, Norcia had to respond to a new challenge: to be functional and restore the affected parameters. The study for presentation includes the restructuring of the vital functions of the town while keeping the local community. The compact old town being damaged required the relocation of part of the population near the existing industrial zone located outside the defence walls (which, up to the earthquake, kept almost all of the residential area within the ancient area). The methods for investigation involve diagrams and conclusion after direct observation. Sustainable development also involves resolving living in safe spaces, and local community continues to grow by balancing the preservation of old damaged buildings, but with major implications for their repair, with the optimal operation in separate areas up to the rehabilitation of damaged buildings. According to the 2015 Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the Sustainable Development Goals, the food sector, tourism and construction can offer good support for development, and Norcia has all the premises for the rebuilding and reconstruction of damaged areas, so that it reaches a sustainable way of appropriate habitation again.

    E-MOBILITY EXPANDING IN UMBRIA Memorandum of understanding signed between Enel, the Region of Umbria and thirteen municipalities to install innovative charging infrastructure, thereby enhancing the environmental performance of the religious and general tourist circuits of the area, which receive hundreds of thousands of visitors each year Rome/Perugia, September 9th, 2013 – This morning at Palazzo Donini, the capital building of the Region of Umbria, the President of the Region of Umbria, Catiuscia Marini, the CEO and General Manager of Enel, Fulvio Conti, along with the mayors of thirteen Umbrian municipalities – cities of great artistic, historical and religious tradition - signed an important memorandum of understanding on e-mobility. The goal of the agreement is to implement measures to promote and encourage the use of environmentally friendly vehicles through the creation of an innovative, safe and easy- to-use network of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The memorandum of understanding commits Enel to offering the entities involved its expertise in developing innovative technological solutions for the efficient use of energy within a system of smart infrastructure for charging electric vehicles, helping the municipalities identify the best locations for the infrastructure. The towns will support the project with significant incentives, such as access to restricted traffic areas, car sharing, car rental and electric shuttles for tourists, “zero-emissions” merchandise delivery in historical zones and free parking spaces for electric vehicles. For its part, the Region will coordinate the project, linking the various municipalities involved, thanks to Enel Distribuzione's charging network, thereby enhancing the environmental performance of the religious and general tourism circuits, which receive hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

    THE VALNERINA GEOLOGICAL PARK A guide to the exploration Notes: Stratigraphy, Tectonics, Geomorphology, Quaternary Geology, Georesources. The Umbria - Marche Apennines, for stratigraphic and tectonic characters, is one of the most studied and visited regions by geologists of all world. Schools and universities bring their students for tracking exercises or follow guided, using this area as a real gym. The Valnerina is an area of particular value, which collects a multiplicity of sites of scientific interest, representative of the main topics of geology, all fairly easy to reach, thanks to the extension of the network of roads and trails. A territory that for these reasons fully deserves the connotation of geological park. In this guide, we provide a brief description of the area and of the very interesting sites (geosites), organized into 10 thematic itineraries. The guide is addressed to teachers who want to lead their students to explore this territory, using it as an open-air laboratory. At the same time, the guide can be used by geologists and geology enthusiasts, as the basis for the organization of geotourist excursions. The visit will enrich to the historical-cultural heritage and natural beauty of this region and the excellent quality of the reception. The "reading tips" provided for each theme, and the bibliography, placed at the end of the volume, can compensate for the schematic treatise due to scarcity of space.
