Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarships

*You must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa to be eligible for all awards listed.

Goucher College  $6,000 per year  3.5 GPA and AA or AS degree required  Unlimited number of renewable scholarships  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

Harrisburg University  PTK Scholarship $8,000 per year  Transfer presidential Merit Scholarship- $10,000 per year o 3.30 GPA or higher

Hood College  $2,000 per year  The PTK Scholarship is in addition to an Apple Scholarship or a Hood Merit Scholarship that may be earned by an incoming transfer student.  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

Johns Hopkins University  $2,000- $3,500 Base award is $2000; Members who have served as Chapter, Regional or International Officers are eligible for increased awards.  Must transfer to the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School  3.75 minimum GPA  Must have completed 60 college level credits  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

McDaniel College  $5,000-$18,000 for 1 year  Minimum 3.2 QPA and 24 transferrable credits  Membership in Phi Theta Kappa with a minimum cumulative college 3.5 GPA and at least 36 transferable credit hours automatically qualifies transfer students for a $10,000 scholarship.  Will waive the Admissions Application fee if student visits our campus.  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

Mount St. Mary’s University  $2,500 for 2 years  Is in addition to any Merit Scholarship a transfer student may receive.  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible  Must be US Citizen

Salisbury University  Ten (10) $2,000 per year scholarships are renewable for four semesters if maintain 3.0 GPA  Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5  Minimum of 56 transferable semester hours and documentation of current Phi Theta Kappa membership are required; leadership roles and community service will also be considered.  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible  Must be US Citizen

Stevenson University  Members of PTK may be considered for the Honors Incentive for Transfer Students  $2,000 annually for up to four consecutive years and can be awarded in addition to the SU Transfer Scholarship  Complete the Stevenson University undergraduate admissions application process, including all required admissions documentation, by May 1 for fall and November 1 for spring.  Must be first-time bachelor's degree-seeking applicant

St. Mary’s College of  $1,000- $5,000 renewable for up to 2 years  3.5 GPA required  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible  Documentation of current Phi Theta Kappa membership is required  Twenty (20) $3000 per year scholarships are renewable for four semesters if maintain 3.0 GPA • 3.5 GPA required  56 credit hours and in-state residency  Documentation of current Phi Theta Kappa membership is required  Must be enrolled full-time  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

University of Baltimore (UB)  Helen P. Denit Honors program  3.5 GPA required

University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC)  Up to twenty-five (25) renewable $2,500 per year scholarships  3.5 GPA required  Documentation of current Phi Theta Kappa membership is required  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES)  Ten (10) $2,000 per year scholarships if a minimum 3.25 GPA is maintained  Must have earned an associate’s degree with minimum 3.25 GPA • Must be enrolled full-time • Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible • Must be US Citizen

University of Maryland University College (UMUC) • Full tuition and fees covered • 3.0 GPA and Associate’s Degree required • Renewable if 3.0 GPA is maintained  Students with bachelor’s degree are not eligible

Washington College  $12,500- $20,000 per year and is renewable  Application fee for Phi Theta Kappa Members will be waived on an "on request " basis
