GREEN LANTERN: AGENT ORANGE FREE DOWNLOAD Geoff Johns | 128 pages | 09 Nov 2010 | DC Comics | 9781401224202 | English | New York, NY, United States GREEN LANTERN: AGENT ORANGE Collects Green Lantern and material from Blackest Night 0. Some of his basic abilities are shared with other Corps: flight, aura projection, and the ability to create constructs made from light. Both antagonists prove difficult to persuade, with Larfleeze more preoccupied by the other Corps having their own Guardians. Green Lantern: Agent Orange was saved from the Black Lanterns by Green Lantern: Agent Orange who demanded that Larfleeze hand over his power battery. The now unified New Guardians gave chase and followed him to Ryut where they discovered the Book of The Black which absorbed Green Lantern: Agent Orange the New Guardians within itself for a moment. When he asked about the Greed Entity, Larfleeze spoke of Ophidian the Tempter and claimed that it was still curious about Hal Jordan as to what he wanted with Larfleeze having a similar thought. When Hal asks the Guardians what Larfleeze wanted, they reply it does not concern them. Green Lantern Vol 4 As promised, Sayd agrees to become Larfleeze's personal Guardian when he demands payment for participating in their plan. When Krona 's attack traps the other six New Guardians in the Book of the Black, Hal is able to escape with their rings. Not finding this to be an acceptable answer, Larfleeze creates an axe from orange light and seemingly removes Jordan's hand by force. As events progressed, the Life Entity was revealed who first empowered Sinestro and later Hal Jordan whereupon a temporary White Lantern Corps was formed which defeated Nekron thus ending the Blackest Night.

  • Criminological Examination of the 'Real-Life Superhero'
‘THE HERO WITH A THOUSAND GRACES’: A SOCIO- CRIMINOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF THE ‘REAL-LIFE SUPERHERO’ PHENOMENON Vladislav Iouchkov Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) 2017 Western Sydney University To my superheroic soul mate Caren, my super-mother Valeria, my super-smelly dogs Sumo, Loki and Lyca, and all of my close super-family and super-peers who stuck by me when I commenced this thesis by telling them “There’s a storm comin’…” in my best Catwoman voice. Not all heroes wear capes. Their strength and support just gives you the impression that you’re wearing one. Acknowledgements Far be it for me to call this journey a Hero’s one, but the call to adventure, the meeting of mentors, the crossing of thresholds, the facing of challenges, an intermission of death followed closely by rebirth, and finally the road back to the ‘ordinary’ all give an almost- indistinguishable impression of it. First and foremost, I wish to thank each and every one of the Real-Life Superheroes with whom I communicated during the course of this study – whether they participated or not. This project simply would not have been possible without the granted generosity of your time, attention, and dedication towards helping me to advance this research. Joseph Campbell wrote in The Hero with a Thousand Faces that “Wherever the poetry of myth is interpreted as biography, history, or science, it is killed” – upon completing this thesis, I could not disagree more. A special thanks also go out to Nutan Muckle, Dr Peter Bansel, Vicki Fox and Cynthia Bailey of Western Sydney University for their invaluable assistance in traversing what is (let’s face it) an area deserving of its many eye-rolls and vocalised grunts during one’s candidature: administration.

Conference Proceedings 2015 “Bald Eagle & Panda” U.S.-China Culture Exchange Virtual Conference November, 2015 Iowa State University of Science and Technology Ames, Iowa, USA Editors Linda Hagedorn, Ph.D. Liang (Rebecca) Tang, Ph.D. Arne Hallam, Ph.D. Editorial Notes What is the Bald Eagle and Panda Conference? The Bald Eagle and Panda Virtual Conference is an annual event, first began in 2014, funded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. The conference evolved through the collaboration between Iowa State University (ISU) in the U.S. and Henan Normal University (HNNU) in China. Since 2012, HNNU and ISU have worked together to establish an American Cultural Center on the HNNU campus that can enhance English language training, understanding American culture from a comparative perspective, and enriching curriculum across both universities for the creation of global citizens with wide perspectives and open minds. We seek to enhance critical thinking and open dialogue across the globe. The Bald Eagle and Panda (BEAP) Conference is preceded by a call for proposals asking students to submit a short essay (250-300 words) describing their intentions for a longer and more complete presentation and/or paper. All proposals were evaluated on the following: importance of the topic within American and Chinese cultural exchange, quality of writing, potential for effective display, and suitability/readiness for presentation. All students were given informative feedback on their proposals. Proposals were either accepted for presentation, accepted but not presented, or declined. Proposers in the first two categories were invited to submit a full paper that would be included in these proceedings and will enter them into the competition for prizes.

  • With This Ring Jumpchain
With This Ring Jumpchain Version 1.2 By Disposable_Face DC’s Earth 16 is a world where villains have learned that open villainy is not sufficient to achieve their goals, where the major names in crime – Luthor, Savage, the Brain, and others of similar temperament and caliber – have subtly joined forces and formed the Light, a council of villains dedicated to advancing their own interests and end their worlds dependency on heroes like the Justice League, some hope to do this by advancing technology, others by taking over the world, but for now they hide their goals and resources as they gather their power. DC’s Earth 16 is a world where young heroes struggle to step out of their mentor’s shadows. Where young men and women work to define themselves independently of their parentage or their teachers, while facing the worst of what the universe has to offer, threats both subtle and gross, terrestrial and xeno, old and new. When their mentors cannot adapt to the new tactics of villains, or when the drama inherent to teenage life is complicated by the mess of super-hero life, Young Justice must rise to the occasion and save the world. This … is not that world. … Oh, the world of “With This Ring” certainly resembles the world of Young Justice/Earth 16, though it includes a much broader swath of general DC characters and storylines, but there are ever-growing differences stemming, largely, from a single event. th On the 4 of July, 2010, a man awakens in orbit over an Earth that is not his own, with nothing but his pajamas and an Orange Power Ring (not even possessing an Orange Lantern), and while Paul recognizes the broad strokes of DC, he has no memory of this specific universe and the nuances of its plot.

He was saved from the Black Lanterns by Atrocitus who demanded that Larfleeze hand over his power battery. In a resultant fight, the Red Lantern managed to steal the Central Power Battery but Larfleeze was in close pursuit in order to reclaim it. Their skirmish ended briefly when the Black Lanterns attacked both of them. He then released his Orange Lantern Corps to attack their undead counterparts in an attempt to claim a Black power ring. However, his constructs were absorbed by the Black Lanterns. Once the battle was over, Larfleeze angrily told the two Oans that they had betrayed him and went against their pact. When Ganthet explained it was not him who did so, he asked Larfleeze as to why he attacked Odym. Larfleeze then revealed the new pact he had with the other Guardians who told him where he could acquire a Blue power ring which was all part of a plan by the Oans to have the Blue Lantern Corps and Orange Lantern Corps wipe each other out, which in turn inadvertently added to the already blazing War of Light.
