Short biography

The Brazilian , Wellington Moura, Bachelor of music specialized in lyric singing, studied at the Conservatory of Music Bologna (Italy), Federal University Pernambuco (Brazil), and Consevatory of Music Pernambuco (Brazil).

Wellington S. Moura is recognised for his versatility in and songs. He Studied with Rolando Panerai, Mariella Devia, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Fulvio Massa and Anna Di Gennaro. Currently studying with Vocal Coach Laura Brioli.

He has sung in many festivals (Verdi’s Festival in Busseto - Italy, Winter’s Festival of Garanhuns - Brazil, Christmas at Triunfo – Brazil, etc.) and Theatres (Verdi of Busseto, Della Pergola in Florece, Central in San Remo, Moderno in Grosseto, Dal Verme in Milan, Giudita Pasta in Saronno, Santa Isabel in Recife, etc) working with conductors such as Giuseppe Lanzetta, Donato Renzetti, Stefano Giaroli, Johanna Knauf, Fabrizio Cassi, José Renato Accioly, Simon Krecic). Wellington collaborated with opera directors such as Vivian Hewitt, Leo Muscato and Massimo Gasparon.

Wellington S. Moura's operatic roles span a wide range of repertoire from Mozart to Verdi and from Rossini to Puccini and beyond. Some opera titles and roles are: La Traviata (Verdi), I Masnadieri (Verdi), Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), La Cenerentola (Rossini), La Bohème (Puccini), Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Don Pasquale (Donizetti), L’Elisir d’Amore (Donizetti), La Vedova Allegra (Lehár), (Leoncavallo), Tosca (Puccini), Carmen (Bizet), Treemonisha (Joplin)… About solist : Carmina Burana (Orff), Symphony No. 9 (Beethoven), Requiem (Mozart), Requiem (Fauré) …And camera music: Die Winterreise (Schubert), Dichterliebe (Schumann).

Actually, Wellington Moura performs also in big events in Europe and in South America singing opera’s and operatic pop.
