Mercoledì 26 gennaio 2011/Anno I n° 13/Newsletter settimanale a cura Ufficio Stampa FISG SPONSOR FORNITORI ALL’INTERNO SPECIALE JUNIOR SPEED ISTITUZIONI SKATING WORLD CUP BASELGA DI PINE’ PRIMA PAGINA FIGURA: a Berna 2011 molto bene gli atleti Azzurri nei preliminari Alice Garlisi e la coppia di Danza Federica Testa/Christopher Mior passano il taglio dei preliminari e si qualificano per il tabellone principale dei Campionati Europei di Pattinaggio di Figura a Barna 2011. Alice raggiunge così in gara Carolina Kostner e Valentina Marchei ottenendo un ottimo terzo posto nelle qualificazioni - passavano le prime dieci- con il punteggio di 78.81, suo record personale nel programma libero. Federica Testa e Christopher Mior si aggiungono invece nella Danza alle altre coppie italiane Federica Faiella/Massimo Scali e Lorenza Alessandrini/Simone Vaturi. La coppia Azzurra si è classificata quarta -passavano le prime otto- nella gara dei preliminari con il punteggio di 67.90. Federica e Christopher torneranno in gara oggi -insieme a Faiella/Scali e Alessandrini/Vaturi- per affrontare il programma corto. L’evento di Berna prevede per oggi anche la cerimonia di apertura e il corto per le coppie di Artistico con in gara per l’Italia Stefania Berton/Ondrej Hotarek e Carolina Gillespie/Luca Demattè. Alice Garlisi tornerà invece sul ghiaccio svizzero della PostFinance Arena venerdì 28 gennaio per il programma corto. Samuel Contesti e Paolo Bacchini faranno il loro esordio giovedì 27. Piné-Pulinet) e 500m Ladies Andrea Stefani (S.G. Roana). 500m Men 1000m Ladies I pattinatori gareggeranno nel corso delle due giornate sulle distanze dei 500, 1000, 1500 e 3000 metri e sulla 1000m Men spettacolare prova finale mass start (dimostrativa). Dando 3000m Ladies (quartets) vista così a sfide spettacolari e dall’esito sempre incerto, sia 3000m Men (quartets) in batterie da due atleti che quartetti di quattro pattinatori contemporaneamente sul ghiaccio. Attesa anche per Domenica 30 dalle 11.00 vedere i pattinatori impegnati domenica nella prova mass- 500m Ladies (2) start (con partenza in linea e tutti gli atleti 500m Men (2) contemporaneamente sul ghiaccio) che chiuderà il 1500m Ladies programma di gare mondiali sull’anello dell’Ice Rink Pinè. In 1500m Men questi giorni prosegue l'intensa attività del comitato Mass Start Ladies organizzatore, forte di oltre 50 volontari, per preparare nel migliore dei modi la pista, gli allenamenti e l'ospitalità per (evento dimostrativo) gli atleti, tecnici e giudici di gara. Cresce quindi sull’Altopiano di Pinè l’attesa per la Coppa del Mondo Junior che in questo fine settimana vedrà impegnati sul ghiaccio dell’Ice Rink Pinè i migliori giovani atleti di tutto il mondo. La Coppa del Mondo Junior, nata nella stagione nel 2008-2009, prevede la disputa di due prove di qualificazione continentali (Europa, Asia e Nord America) e di una finale che si svolgerà quest'anno il 6 e 7 marzo a Groningen (Olanda). Per i punti di coppa valgono anche i risultati che gli atleti otterranno nel corso dei Mondiali Junior previsti per fine febbraio a Seinajoki (Finlandia). La tappa italiana di Baselga di Pinè, che segue la prima tappa di Zakopane (Polonia) sarà quindi decisiva per consentire l’accesso alla fase finale e presenta il nuovo record di nazioni iscritte e di giovani atleti junior partecipanti. Due intese giornate di gare che vedranno confrontarsi oltre 150 atleti di ben 16 Nazioni di tutto il Mondo momento risultano già accreditate le squadre nazionali di Austria, Bielorussia, Danimarca, Estonia, Finlandia, Kazakistan, Germania, Italia, Russia, Norvegia, Polonia, Olanda, Repubblica Ceca, Romania, Svizzera, e Ungheria. In particolare la nazionale azzurra, guidata dai tecnici Giorgio Baroni, Flavio Sighel e Maurizio De Monte sarà composta dagli atleti Paola Simionato (U.S.G. Pieve di Cadore), Valentina D’Eletto (S.G. Trento), Francesca Bettrone e Linda Bortolotti (C.P. Piné-Pulinet) e Yvonne Daldossi (S.C. Merano), mentre in Mercoledì 26 gennaio 2011/Anno I n° 13 SPEED SKATING SHORT TRACK DANZA ARTISTICO SINCRONIZZATO CURLING STOCK SPORT Campionati Mondiali Sprint - Heerenveen (NED) 22/23 .01 Tutti i risultati Christine Nesbitt e Simionato ha ottenuto il sedicesimo tempo con 39.26, Kyou-Hyuk Lee sono i mentre Yvonne Daldossi il ventiseiesimo con 40.14.

    2021 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships January 11-21, 2021 Las Vegas | The Orleans Arena Media Information and Story Ideas The U.S. Figure Skating Championships, held annually since 1914, is the nation’s most prestigious figure skating event. The competition crowns U.S. champions in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at the senior and junior levels. The 2021 U.S. Championships will serve as the final qualifying event prior to selecting and announcing the U.S. World Figure Skating Team that will represent Team USA at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm. The marquee event was relocated from San Jose, California, to Las Vegas late in the fall due to COVID-19 considerations. San Jose meanwhile was awarded the 2023 Toyota U.S. Championships, marking the fourth time that the city will host the event. Competition and practice for the junior and Championship competitions will be held at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The event will take place in a bubble format with no spectators. Las Vegas, Nevada This is the first time the U.S. Championships will be held in Las Vegas. The entertainment capital of the world most recently hosted 2020 Guaranteed Rate Skate America and 2019 Skate America presented by American Cruise Lines. The Orleans Arena The Orleans Arena is one of the nation’s leading mid-size arenas. It is located at The Orleans Hotel and Casino and is operated by Coast Casinos, a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming Corporation. The arena is the home to the Vegas Rollers of World Team Tennis since 2019, and plays host to concerts, sporting events and NCAA Tournaments.

Il secondo Azzurro, Paul Parkinson, ha chiuso nono la sua gara con 156,37 punti (quinto e tredicesimo). Successo per il giapponese Daisuke Murakami con 213,37. Nell'individuale femminile in gara per l'Italia Roberta Rodeghiero e Alice Garlisi, che hanno chiuso rispettivamente in ottava e 15esima posizione con 103,82 (14esima e sesta) e 92,73 (12esima e 16esima) punti. Vittoria per la francese Mae Berenice Meite con 136,58. Podio per gli Azzurri anche fra le Coppie, con Stefania Berton e Ondrej Hotarek secondi al termine della gara con 163,83 punti ed un terzo ed un secondo posto nello Short e nel Libero. Gara vinta dalla coppia russa Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov con 190,15. Secondo posto e podio per l'Italia anche nella Danza, con la coppia Lorenza Alessandrini/Simone Vaturi (124,76 punti, frutto di due secondi piazzamenti nello Short e nel Libero) battuti solamente dalla coppia tedesca Nelli Zhiganshina/Alexander Gazsi (142,10).
