Deze projecten bestonden uit een groot aantal verschillende activiteiten: van presentaties tot aankopen, van publicaties tot program­ meringen. Musea, presentatie­instellingen, kunstenaarsinitiatieven, archieven, bibliotheken en andere organisaties maakten in deze projecten beeldende kunst, vormgeving en cultureel erfgoed toegankelijk voor een groot en divers publiek. Naast het ondersteunen van projecten heeft de Mondriaan Stichting dit jaar ook een aantal opmerkelijke activiteiten ontwikkeld. Met het Fonds voor Beeldende Kunsten, Vormgeving en Bouwkunst stelde zij de publicatie Second Opinion samen, over subsidiëring van beeldende kunst(enaars). Bijzonder was eveneens de samenwerking met Stichting Doen en Hivos in Arts Collaboratory, dat onafhankelijke kunstenaarsinitiatieven in Afrika, Azië en Latijns­ Amerika financiert. De Mondriaan Stichting ondersteunt de uitwisseling tussen deze kunstenaarsinitiatieven en Nederlandse instellingen voor beeldende kunst.

In 1987 Predrag studied Fine Art and History of Art in Italy before being accepted in 1992 to the Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design, London, to pursue his BA in Fashion Design. Since graduation in 1994 and the Courtauld Institute of Art, London (MA History of Art), Predrag has lectured at the Royal College of Art, London and at the Blake College, London, and has recently set up his own clothes label "Sebastian". He has exhibited widely throughout the UK, and in 1998 held a solo show at the M 6k C Saatchi Gallery in London. Predrag`s works form part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The British Museum, and The Victoria and Albert Museum, London and the Musee de la Mode, Paris, collections. His work has been reviewed by major publications, including Art & Design, Harpers & Queen, Vogue, The Guardian and many more. His work and output is interdisciplinary as he works across a number of media including video, photography, drawing, sound and installation. He works both as an artist and a curator, with his work being shown internationally in both solo and group exhibitions; in 2004 alone, these included: 'Delay' at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam; 'To whom it may Concern' at the Foundation for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam; 'The Presidency' at Exit Art, New York; 'Memory', Salina Art Center, Salina; 'Garden' Castle Vault, Southampton; 'Terrorvision', Exit Art, New York and 'Blackout', Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade in 2003.

    MEDIA RELEASE ARTSADMIN AWARDS NINE ARTISTS‘ BURSARIES SUPPORTED BY THE JERWOOD CHARITABLE FOUNDATION Artsadmin is delighted to announce the nine recipients of its 2013 artists’ bursary scheme, each of whom will be awarded a share of the £25,000 bursary fund. The 2013 bursary recipients, selected from over 250 applications, are Nicola Canavan, Tania El Khoury, Eloise Fornieles, Nic Green, jamie lewis hadley, Adam James, Gillie Kleiman, LOW PROFILE and Grace Schwindt. They are offered a cash bursary and an opportunity to show work in development at Toynbee Studios as well as mentoring and advocacy support from Artsadmin's advisory team. Manick Govinda, Head of artists’ advisory services at Artsadmin, said; “We are delighted with the selection of artists; they are risk-taking, challenging and are asking important questions in the field of contemporary performance. The bursaries offer them a little moment of important time to experiment and further explore their ideas and practice.” This year’s bursaries have been generously supported by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation as part of a broader scheme which also includes funding for two commissions by previous bursary artists. The bursary scheme is also supported by Arts Council England and by donors to Artsadmin’s Small Change scheme.
