NEW SCHOLARSHIP FOR MCLEAN COUNTY STUDENTS FINANCIAL AID & VALUE Made possible by generous funding from the Illinois Wesleyan Associates BE BREAKTHROUGH HI FROM IWU! You know us, right? Over the years you might have attended athletic events at the Shirk Center, or participated in a summer camp, or enjoyed a concert at Presser Hall. IWU offers so much to this community and we’re proud of that. This year, thanks to generous alumni, we’re able to offer this community A WHOLE LOT MORE. We know you may be considering a school further from home. We hear that from local students sometimes, and we get it. But you know what else we hear? Illinois Wesleyan’s campus is like its own world. There is always something interesting or exciting going on with fun, smart, and enjoyable people from all over the world here. When you attend Illinois Wesleyan as a student, a community is established–a community that makes you feel like you’re in a new world–a world that can feel as far away from home as you want it to. It’s completely up to you. The other thing we hear from students in our own “back yard” is that they think IWU is out of their price range. That we’re this “elite institution” that only students from wealthy families can afford. That’s not true–in fact, we regularly enroll students just like you from diverse economic backgrounds. Thanks to our donors, we’re even more affordable now. We hope this brochure informs you about this incredible scholarship opportunity at IWU, and also gets you thinking realistically about the actual cost of attending college and the true value of an Illinois Wesleyan education.
