Dr.Sambuddho Chakravarty Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, New Delhi 2 Abstract Peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing accounts for one of the major sources of the Internet traffic. As privacy and anonymity issues continue to grow due to constant censorship and network surveil- lance, more and more Internet users are getting attracted towards the facilities for anonymous communication. Extensive research has been conducted over the years towards the design and development of several anonymous P2P file sharing protocols and systems. Size of the Anonymity Set plays a crucial role in determining the degree of anonymity being provided by such networks. -

Testimony of Authors Guild President Scott Turow Before the Senate
My name is Scott Turow. I’m the president of the Authors Guild, the largest society of published authors in the U.S., representing more than 8,500 book authors and freelance writers. Our members represent the broad sweep of American authorship, including literary and genre fiction, nonfiction, trade, academic, and children’s book authors, textbook authors, freelance journalists and poets.1 Guild members have won countless honors and all major literary awards, including the Nobel Prize for Literature.2 The Authors Guild promotes the professional interests of authors: we’re advocates for effective copyright protection, fair contracts, and free expression. It’s a pleasure and an honor to be here this morning. I’d like especially to thank this committee for recognizing the severity of the problem we all face and getting the ball rolling with COICA in the fall, which recognized this central and unavoidable truth: any serious attempt to address online piracy must address the third-party enablers of infringement. Anything that doesn’t address those enablers is, frankly, a pretend solution to a real problem. Our Copyright Policy Inadvertently Encourages Investments in Technologies and Services That Promote Trafficking in Stolen Books, Music, and Movies After 300 years as one of history's greatest public policy successes, copyright is coming undone. As we meet here this morning, our well-intended policy toward copyright online is 1 The Guild had its beginnings as the Authors League of America, which was founded in 1912 by a group of book authors (including Theodore Roosevelt, who served as the League’s founding vice president), short story writers, freelance journalists and a smattering of dramatists. -

Piratez Are Just Disgruntled Consumers Reach Global Theaters That They Overlap the Domestic USA Blu-Ray Release
Moviegoers - or perhaps more accurately, lovers of cinema - are frustrated. Their frustrations begin with the discrepancies in film release strategies and timing. For example, audiences that saw Quentin Tarantino’s1 2 Django Unchained in the United States enjoyed its opening on Christmas day 2012; however, in Europe and other markets, viewers could not pay to see the movie until after the 17th of January 2013. Photos Copied" Box
Our photos have never been as scattered as they are now... Do you know where your photos are? Digital Photo Roundup Checklist www.theswedishorganizer.com Online Storage Edition Let's Play Digital Photo Roundup! Congrats on making the decision to start organizing your digital photos! I know the task can seem daunting, so hopefully this handy checklist will help get your moving in the right direction. LET'S ORGANIZE! To start organizing your digital photos, you must first gather them all into one place, so that you'll be able to sort and edit your collection. Use this checklist to document your family's online storage accounts (i.e. where you have photos saved online), and whether they are copied onto your Master hub (the place where you are saving EVERYTHING). It'll make the gathering process a whole lot easier if you keep a record of what you have already copied and what is still to be done. HERE'S HOW The services in this checklist are categorized, so that you only need to print out what applies to you. If you have an account with the service listed, simply check the "Have Account" box. When you have copied all the photos, check the "Photos Copied" box. Enter your login credentials under the line between the boxes for easy retrieval. If you don't see your favorite service on the list, just add it to one of the blank lines provided after each category. Once you are done, you should find yourself with all your digital images in ONE place, and when you do, check back on the blog for tools to help you with the next step in the organizing process. -
