2019 Dinner in aid of WednesdayWednesday 99 OctoberOctober 20192019 TheThe Savoy,Savoy, LondonLondon Redburn is proud to support The October Club & Spinal Injuries Association redburn.com BUCKINGHAM PALACE I have been Patron of the Spinal Injuries Association since 1984. During the past 35 years, I have seen the charity develop and expand in response to the needs of spinal cord injured people and their families. As a result, more people are receiving the support and care they need to lead IXO¿OOHGOLYHVDIWHULQMXU\RUGLDJQRVLV However, two thirds of newly injured people do not receive the vital specialist care they need and are therefore at risk of serious and life-threatening health complications. To respond to this situation, the Spinal Injuries Association has established its innovative Nurse Specialist project. With your help, the charity will extend this successful pilot and build the evidence base that will drive lasting change to policy and practice. The project you are supporting this evening will transform care for spinal cord injured people. The impact will be life changing, even life saving, for many thousands of people. Together we can ensure that all spinal cord injured people have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Thank you for your support and I hope you have an enjoyable evening.
