In 2017, Multimarine introduced the sister company called Multimarine Shipyards Ltd and have invested in a state-of-the-art, class approved, modern Floating Dock with associated facilities in Limassol Port, Cyprus.

Multimarine maintains an extensive library of welding procedures supported by a team of coded welders. Some techniques used are GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and SAW. Established at Multimarine’s shipyard, the Service Station complements ABB Turbocharging’s comprehensive service network, which includes over 100 Service Stations in more than 50 countries, operating 24/7. In addition to supporting marine customers, the Service Station is strategically positioned to deliver servicing solutions for ABB Turbocharging customers across various other industries, including oil and gas and power generation, in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region.
With this new Service Station, ABB Turbocharging is continuing to provide high-quality servicing for optimal fleet productivity for operators in this region. The location of this Service Station will enable a closer physical pick up point for marine customers at the Limassol Port shipyard for ultimate convenience and timeliness.

At Multimarine, we consider ourselves as specialists in crane, forklift truck hire, general and heavy haulage, and stevedoring for operations in Cyprus Ports. We provide equipment handling and lifting solutions to suit each customer’s specific requirements. We offer full coverage for crane hire services throughout Cyprus, including Limassol and Larnaca ports.
To support this, we offer a comprehensive mobile crane fleet accompanied with fully tested and certified lifting equipment, a range of forklift trucks with various lifting capacities, and a floating crane barge. Moreover, to compliment our lifting operations, we also offer a large haulage fleet of low loaders and flat bed trucks. Additionally, our crane operators, Banksmen and Riggers are trained to OPITO standards, and to the Cyprus Health and Safety Legislation.
Our current fleet is made up of five All-Terrain Mobile Cranes from 45 to 350te, multi heavy-duty low loader modules up to 600te, several forklift trucks and telescopic forklifts up to 25te capacity, and various certified “cherry-pickers”.
All our mobile cranes are licensed by the Cyprus Ports Authorities for loading and offloading vessels, inside Limassol and Larnaca Ports.
Before each operation commences, our engineers provide a Lifting Plan and Risk Assessment. This is to ensure all lifting operations follow our in-house, and that of our clients’ lifting procedure, as well as complying with the local and international legislation.
