The name of the hotel has been synonymous with the rich heritage of Hyderabad. The Sixth Nizam of Hyderabad had bestowed the title of ‘Nawab Arastu Yar Jung’ to his Chief Physician and Advisor Dr. Abdul Husain, whose legacy of being a philanthropist and offering warm hospitality to people has been kept alive by ‘Hotel Arastu’.
