DIRECTIONS Address BGS Environment Science Centre Nicker Hill Keyworth Notts NG12 5GG By Car From the M1 North to BGS Leave the M1 motorway at junction 21a and follow the A46 to Leicester/Newark. Keep right at the fork and merge into the A46. At the roundabout take the first exit and stay on the A46 towards Newark/Melton/A607/Nottingham/A606. Take the A606 ramp to Nottingham/Melton Mowbray. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Melton Road/A606. Turn left onto Platt Lane. Take the first left. From the M1 South to University Park Leave the M1 motorway at junction 26 and follow the A610 signposted to Nottingham/Ilkeston. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A610 heading to Nottingham/Bulwell/Stapleford/A6002/Nuthall. Keep left at the fork. Turn right onto Western Boulevard/A6514. Turn right onto Woolaton Road/A6514. Slight left onto Middleton Boulevard/A6514. Continue onto Clifton Boulevard/A52. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Melton Road/A606. Turn right into Platt Lane. Take the first left. Directions by public transport The nearest railway stations to BGS are Nottingham and Loughborough. Black cabs are available outside both stations. Alternatively D G Cars are a local taxi company who accept pre-booked journeys. Their telephone number is 0115 9500 500. Onwards from Nottingham station: Bus service (Keyworth Connection) or taxi. Onwards from East Midlands Parkway: Taxi ( there is no direct bus service from Ratcliffe-on- Soar to Keyworth). Onwards from Loughborough station: Taxi (there is no direct bus service from Loughborough to Keyworth). Visitors staying in Nottingham or West Bridgford can catch a bus to Keyworth, the Keyworth Connection, which runs from the Broadmarsh Bus Station in Nottingham. This bus route travels via Nottingham railway station (the bus stop is just outside the station on the right) through West Bridgford and on to Keyworth. .
