ROADS UPDATE – 22 June 2020

General information

 Due to flooding of roads, traffic is temporary closed on the main road between Živinice-Olovo (in Stupari and Đurđevik) as well as on roads Kladanj-Vlasenica (in Ravne) and Tišća-Šekovići (in the place Bjelašnica).  As of 18.06.2020, traffic will be closed every day except Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Ljubinje-Trebinje road (in the place of Tulje). Vehicles may use the road Stolac-Berkovići-Bileća-Trebinje.  Traffic through the Ormanica Tunnel (on the Srebrenik-Orašje road) and through the Vinac Tunnel (Jajce-Donji Vakuf) is closed. Due to flooding of roads, currently it is not possible to use the road Srnice Donje-Špionica as an alternative road to Srebrenik and the traffic is diverted to the section Srnice Donje-Bukva-Srebrenik.  Increase in traffic frequency at the entrance to BiH on the following border crossings: Velika Kladuša, , Bosanska Gradiška, Bosanski Brod, Bosanski Šamac and Orašje. Wait time at other border crossings is up to 30min.  Bridge works in Reljevo (Jošanica-Stup). Traffic is diverted to alternative routes.  Traffic is suspended through the Omarica Tunnel (Srebrenik-Orašje road). Vehicles coming from direction of Tuzla and Srebrenik use a bypass road near the tunnel, while vehicles coming from Orašje and Gradačac use alternative road (crossroads Ormanica-Vučkovci-Srnice-Bukva-regional road R-461 towards Srebrenik). Passenger vehicles can use Srnice Donje – Špionica road.  On the main road between -Nemila (through the Tunnel), two- way traffic is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. From 9 p.m. to 00:30 a.m., one lane is open and from 00:30 a.m. – 5 a.m. traffic is closed. During the traffic closure, vehicles up to 7.5 tons of total weight can use a bypass road through Tetovo and vehicles above 7.5 tons alternative roads Doboj-Šićki Brod-Sarajevo and Žepče- Zavidovići-Olovo-Sarajevo.  Due to repair works in the Vinac Tunnel (Jajce-Donji Vakuf), traffic is suspended and a bypass road around the tunnel is used  Due to repair works on the bridge at the Blatuša intersection near Zenica, a lane exiting from the settlement Blatuša towards Sarajevo is closed for traffic. Temporary circular road is open for traffic.  Road works on the bridge across the Tinja River in Drenik (Srebrenik-Šićki Brod road and one lane is open for traffic. Road works on the bridge across the Ljubina River, on the road connecting Olovo and Semizovac. During the works, a nearby bypass road is open for traffic.  Traffic is suspended on the regional road Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad (Bjelajce) due to road works, every day except Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BORDERS:

Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened its borders towards Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro. The decision pertains only to citizens of these three countries, while citizens of other countries can enter BiH for their business activities (under the condition that they have an invitation of a legal entity from BiH and a negative SARS- COV-2 certificate, not older than 48 hours from the moment of entry. Entry to Croatia without special restrictions is allowed only to their citizens. Detailed information about entry to Croatia available at: https://entercroatia.mup.hr/ All border crossings for cross border traffic between Croatia and BiH are temporarily closed. Serbia has opened border crossings for passengers and goods transport. Montenegro – Entry to Montenegro from BiH is possible only with a mandatory PCR test issued by an accredited laboratory in BiH not older than 48 hours. During this measure, entry to Montenegro is not possible through the border crossing points Hum and Metaljka. Border points Deleuša-Vraćenovici is closed due to roadworks.
