A lady stopped me to tell Station points out that the average median flow of the river since 1915 is actually 104 CFS. hardcopy book published and titled, Split. It is a compilation of short stories with each member of the group submitting a short story. Theresa also has a couple of SMALL TOWN BY KRISTI HULL E-books that have been published. The first is titled, Bring Me to Life, a ghost story; the second titled, More Than a Lifetime, a paranormal romance. She has also had one play published, “One Bus Town”. It is set in Sacramento, though Theresa has never been there. Her sister Margaret suggested it should be located in Sacramento because the story is set in the 1850’s, and all the shops are still located there. Theresa met Anthony Laws and it was love-at-first-sight. They married in 1978, and are the parents of three boys. The oldest son Khris is career Army. He and his wife, Kirstin, are stationed in Germany, she being a German girl. The couple has a son, Denis, and a daughter, Isabell. The family will be transferring soon to Fort Hood, and though it will be a life-changing event for the family, Anthony and Theresa are very excited to have them moving nearby. Their second son, Eric, is married to Amber, and they have a daughter, Madison. Their young- est son, Adam is married to Andrea, and they have a son, Anthony. Like many other new arrivals, the Laws moved to Junction as the direct result of Anthony’s hunting. In 2001, Anthony had a deer lease in Kimble County, and Anthony and Theresa came to visit on the place as often as possible. In 2006, they purchased the property. At the end of 2007, Anthony completed his last consult- ing job in Lithuania, and the rest is history. Anthony retired in April, 2008, and the couple moved here in December, 2008. They love the peace and quiet that comes with small towns. Theresa hopes to help bring more of the arts to Junction because she believes that small towns can benefit from the arts as much as the cities do. Other loves of Theresa’s include: cooking, gardening and growing veg- gies in her new greenhouse. Theresa said, for her, baking is her favorite, and, in fact, she is a self-proclaimed pie crust queen. Theresa admits she is not socially outgoing, and she was given the suggestion to get out and meet people because they are not coming to her house looking for her. She is working on meeting people, and I predict she will be out of her “shell” sooner than she thinks. When I asked Theresa how she would like to get involved in the community, she said she wants to volunteer; and help in any way possible with the work it takes to keep small towns going. Hey Theresa, once you tell people you are willing, you can never again stay hidden in the country….yoohoo, it is even in print now.
