By Dan Trudeau - Managing Director of Operations • Horticulturist, SLM

e wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the exciting things we have been doing Waround the Vistancia community this past month. Caretaker Landscape and Tree Management has installed plant material along the roadways and medians of Sunrise, Sunset and Whispering Ridge. The installation of the new plants was completed to replace missing, diseased or soon to be expired plant material. Also, you may have noticed that two new Date Palms were installed, one at the entrance to Tapestry and one on the north side of the roundabout. Spring is a great time to refresh or update your landscape. Plants and trees have a greater success rate due to the perfect temperatures. During the spring months the plants have a good opportunity to establish themselves before the summer heat arrives. Care to know: April is the time to start lowering the mowing heights on over seeded turf areas to allow sun light to reach the Bermuda.
