FA Vase Winners: 2002, 2009, 2010 WHITLEY BAY FC BW3 Welcome to Hillheads WHITLEY BAY v WEST ALLOTMENT CELTIC STL Northern League Division 1 Monday 27th December 2010 Good afternoon and welcome to Hillheads Park for today’s STL Northern League local derby against West Allotment Celtic. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all players, officials and supporters of West Allotment Celtic and I hope they enjoy their afternoon with us. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with both of our clubs the compliments of the season. After the recent severe weather it is certainly good to be watching football again and both sets of players will be pleased to be back in action. During the lengthy lay off both Chris Fawcett and David Coulson have continued on the road to fitness and their return will strengthen the Whitley Bay squad for second half of the season. Unfortunately, the prolonged bad weather has prevented the completion of our new stand in time for today’s game so the far side terrace will once again be closed. Weather permitting, we will start the new year at home to Ryton next Monday, with the kick off once again at 2.00pm and then we hope to stage the FA Vase 3rd Round tie against AFC Liverpool on Saturday 8th January.
