Aquatics & Recreation Program Guide Village of Hinsdale PARKS AND RECREATION SUMMER 2016 AQUATICS & RECREATION PROGRAM GUIDE Resident registration begins April 18. Non-Resident registration begins May 2. Village of Hinsdale | Parks & Recreation LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR Dear Village Residents, The official start of summer is June 20th. However the unofficial start is when the Hinsdale Community Pool opens for the season. Take a moment to purchase your season pass at Village Hall or renew your pass on-line. Once the pool season arrives be sure to visit the pool to enjoy a relaxing day pool side. Summer recreation programs begin the week of June 13th with offerings for all ages. Resident program registration begins April 18th. The Village offers a variety of programs including swim lessons, adult yoga and tap classes, sports camps and enrichment programs. Summer months are when the Village of Hinsdale comes alive! There are a variety of events for all ages to enjoy in the Village.     NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE First Destination Report Class of 2019 Ivan Bohorquez ’19 Accounting: C.P.A., Finance, Economics NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE 2019 First SUMMARY Destination Each year, North Central College publishes First Destination Outcomes for the prior year’s graduating class as one of many indicators of perceived value, student achievement and institutional effectiveness. This annual assessment gathers information about Report undergraduate student employment, service and continuing education within 6 months of graduating with their bachelor’s degree. Results of the survey are used by the Office of Career Development to benchmark against regional and national trends and are sought after by a number of other internal and external stakeholders. The following report includes highlights from the North Central College Class of 2019 First Destination Survey. METHODOLOGY A total of 698 students that graduated between July 2018 and June 2019 were included in this survey cohort. An initial survey was provided to all students by the Office of Alumni Engagement just prior to graduation. Surveys were made available online and in paper format. Career Development followed-up with surveys and research for graduates missing data through December 2019. Follow-up included emailed and phone surveys as well as data sources including student records, alumni records, LinkedIn, and input from parents, staff and faculty. STANDARDS AND PROTOCOLS North Central College has adopted the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Standards and Protocols for survey design, data collection, and trend reporting. NACE is the preeminent national organization focused on the employment of the college educated. These standards and protocols define the terms for each graduating class, reporting categories, timeline for data collection, and appropriate data sources.

The format was changed last spring, with a four-week term added to the schedule. Before, summer school offered only a three-week inter- session, a five-week term and an eight-week term. GOLDEYES TAKE RUBBER GAME FROM RAILCATS: The Winnipeg Goldeyes beat the Gary SouthShore RailCats 5-2 at Shaw Park on Thursday afternoon. Deon Stafford hit an RBI double in the bottom of the second that gave Winnipeg a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the fourth, Kevin Lachance hit an RBI single and was followed by a Logan Hill two-run home run that made it 4-0. The RailCats scratched out an unearned run in the top of the sixth. Wes Darvill’s sacrifice fly in the seventh re-extended the lead to 5-1. The RailCats scored another unearned run in the eighth to pull within 5-2, but Donnie Hart pitched a perfect top of the ninth to earn his sixth save.
